  1. Having said all that, this is pretty interesting:
  2. I agree all the way around. For one thing, and amazingly I must say, Dak doesn't appear to try and do too much. Sometimes that's the bite with Romo (and I love Romo). But as I think baddog pointed out, Dak is now 8 completions shy of breaking Brady's record of completions without Sam INT to begin a career. Momentum is a powerful thing and I don't think you mess with it as long as the team is playing well. But as we agree on, Garrett will play Romo when he's healthy. And I hope that's the correct move and I'm as wrong as can be.
  3. Well, and of course thank them for their votes!
  4. You're probably right. By the way, in the last 24 hours, Clinton's betting odds rose from -260 to -330. After the debate tonight, they are at -500. But I'm sure you're right.
  5. While I think that's a relatively simplified approach, we would disagree on who that is anyway.
  6. Going to be interesting to monitor the Pence situation. Apparently the Donald can't even keep the peace with his running mate. What a train wreck. Yet it's hard to look away...
  7. I don't know that any of us are proud. Between neither of them answering a question, Hillary'a goofy smile, and Donald* sounding like he's trying to snort a line off the mic everytime he talks, it's almost too painful to watch. *while leaving "Trump" out of my answer, it wouldn't have been complete without mentioning "Donald."
  8. You're correct. He won't be done until November 8. Unless the GOP decides to nominate him again in the future, which would be a great idea.
  9. Romo will be back in when he's healthy. I don't agree with it if the Cowboys are still rolling but he will be.
  10. He has to take 4 seasons and almost win a couple of AAC titles before his resume is ready
  11. You knew it was going to be epic tonight:
  12. Very good point. Probably easier said than done.
  13. To be fair, they've had a pretty traumatic week.
  14. Here's a serious question. If instead of Vance Bedford, Strong had gone the HS route (like with Traylor) and hired Cornel Thompson (not that he would want to at this stage in his life), would Texas' defense be better? We have debated this and have a consensus but curious of others' thoughts. (And we realize it's a total hypothetical and HS coaches don't start out as coordinators, etc.). But Cornel has been an elite defensive mind in the HS ranks for going on 40 years so I don't think the debate is preposterous.
  15. However, I did see this today and found it more than interesting. Long shot getting longer but I know it is a dream scenario for many folks I know: [Hidden Content]
  16. Down to 19 percent a month before the election, party bailing on him...I'd say something must be sticking. Other than his orangey foot in his rather large mouth...
  17. Trump losing more steam than broken iron. McCain, Paul Ryan, Condoleeza, among others have pulled endorsements. RNC has stopped mailings. RIP Don Don.
  18. Don't forget Pyle's. WHOLE lot of those...
  19. More they avoided getting too unlucky. Ags tried to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory against a Tenn team that has had a rabbit's foot lodged in their collective behind. And agree on Williams. He's a player.
  20. Time to hang a midseason banner!
  21. Ags escape to go 6-0 for first time in 22 years. Bye week comes at a good time for this team
  22. HE throws some bad balls but that kid is tough as nails.
  23. That was a catch and a helluva one at that
  24. Am I the only one who is annoyed by Butch Jones? Ags tie it. Perfect on that kick.
  25. Hold your breath
