Don't blame them. We Dayton fans are not impressed either. What do you do?
keep winning games. As i remember daytons football field used to be a dump.

Winning helps.
How long has that field been there? The school is pretty new. The baseball facility looks much older. -

From the beaumont enterprise ;D
Young boys raced out into the grass and gravel-filled parking lot for the chance at foul balls that clanked off unsuspecting car hoods.
The twine hung behind home plate did not reach high enough to keep many foul tips within the park.
Fans overflowed from the limited, rust-stained bleachers to standing along the first and third baselines beyond the dugouts.
One of two rows of lights in the outfield was out.
The conditions at Dayton were not ideal for Nederland in a 2-0 loss Thursday night and neither was the Bulldogs' play.
"Embarrassing, just embarrassing," one Nederland player repeated to himself as he gathered his things after the opening round Game 1 defeat.
The Bulldogs recorded six hits through the first four innings, but did not manage a hit off Dayton junior pitcher Kevin Roe in the final three frames. Hope-filled chances were ultimately tarnished.
"We had opportunities, we just didn't get the big hit," Nederland coach Cody Robbins said. "I thought Mitchell Sanderson pitched well and gave us an opportunity to win."
The Bulldogs' next opportunity is Game 2, 7 p.m. today at Nederland. Game 3, if necessary, is 1 p.m. Saturday at Nederland.

Wow. Not too impressed with the Dayton facilities I see. -

The Ump was not good. Never seen a high school team have to crowd the plate to protect against balls off the plate being called strikes. The pop ups were off the pitchers very good curve ball, but he was getting his fast ball called to far off the plate. He pitched perfectly, but there is no need to give him that much of a strike zone.
Hopefully the game two ump will not be a little league ump also.

KP seemed to make the adjustment. -

Sanderson 12k's 7 hits 2 runs 2 walks I think
Roe 8 k's 5 hits 0 runs 0 walks
You be the judge

In my professional opinion, 2 runs beats 0 runs 100% of the time. -

Had to leave in the 8th. Pearland up 8-0. Goins was still on the mound for the Oilers. RSS was on pitcher #3. Mendoza lasted 1/3 of the 1st. Could not find the strike zone. Hibert pitched well in relief. Woods was going to finish out.

Pearland will start UT signee Blake Goins in Game 1. He is 90-92

Texas and Texas A & M are a combined 44-40 this year. IF the season ended today, Texas would be dead last in the Big XII and would miss the conference tourney. After 2 losses at Georgia this past weekend, the Ags will need a miracle for an at large NCAA bid.
Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Eagles in 1.
(They score enough runs in game 1 to make game 2 irrelevant.) 8) -

This is my first time in a baseball playoff, so your saying they flip a coin to see if you play at home or a neutral site?
Yes. When in doubt, flip it out. -
Will Davenport pitch for Crosby?
If so, I'll go with the Cougars. -
I wonder why Lumberton's home game is in Vidor? I guess our field is not up to spec?
Probably lost a flip and "Neutral" site won. -
Did teams just pitch around Justin Twine this year?

BH should win in 2. Just too deep.
PNG should win tonight. But Summer Creek has a legit chance in 1 game. The wind should still be blowing in here at RSS tonight. ANything can happen.
IF Dayton wins, that would be one of the biggest upset wins in a long time.
Should finish 2-2.
19-4a has landed a solid punch to the nose of the Dawgs. We'll see how they respond.
