Gonna need a program for this one.
Looks like Georgetown wears the Camo uni's, so they won't be hard to find.... or will they ;D
Very clever.
Someone posted earlier that in the Georgetown win over PN-G, the Eagles "small-balled" the Indians the whole game.  Have they become power hitters since or was the poster mistaken? ???
I think the poster was refering to Georgetown small balling PNG to death.  The Eagles can't beat you with power so why small ball.... LOL
Since both teams are Eagles, he was referring to the BH HR hitting Eagles.
 4. Baytown Sterling grad Brett Marshall was called up by the Yankees this morning to start Game 1 of a DH in Cleveland. Congrats Brett!
 5. Kempner wins Game 2 3-0 They lead Game 3 3-0 Bot 1st
 6.
I don't know if this game will be played today or not, but weather.com is saying there's a 100 percent chance of rain in New Caney today. Can't imagine that bodes well for it.
If it rained this morning, that's 100%.
 7.
Mengden is legit.  He has been great all year if only the Ags could hit when he pitches.
Ags beat #4 LSU 2-1 in a longgggggggggg, rain delayed game. Started on Thursday, finished on Friday.
 8. If you expect to throw any pass over 5 yds, you better have a QB that can move or a line that can sustain a block. Right now, they have neither.
 9.
Yes it is Coach Grimes who was the RB coach last year.  He has these kids excited and working their butts off.  Let's hope the hard work continues through the summer.  Sounds like they will be much more balanced offensively.  They were able to put up decent rushing yards last year.  Hopefully now that they will be passing more that they will be able to extend drives and put up some points.
Unless Sterling improves at the QB and the O-line, it will not matter what offense they run. They have some pretty solid skill players. The flex bone is really better suited for them at the 5A level.  They just do not have the "beef" up front.
Yes they do
Who? 8)
Sophomore and 2 juniors can hit at it and above it
Hit it and quit it.
 11.
If your referring to me I certainly never said they were crappy, especially since I have kin in that line-up. They are far from being crappy or even average, theyre a talented team that should go far. I was just expressing my ONLY concern and that was it , noithing more to it. They've sure had a heck of a year and hopefully it will continue
Not calling anyone out. It's all good.
 12. This crappy pitching staff is something like 29-2. I guess they played a bunch of donkeys. Too much emphasis on MPH. 95 will get you paid, but 85 (with good location and good off speed) will get the job done every day. Just ask those 29 donkeys.

Have you guys seen Brenham play this year? From a pitching standpoint Thames is very good but not overpowering, 83-85 mph tops...They do not have a 95mph stud ala Josh Beckett to trot out there which I think somewhat equalizes them come playoff series time IMHO. Now Brenham doesnt either which is why I think this series is a toss up regardless of records, dont let the rankings and records fool you. Denny and Wunderlich are both studs. Newman and Beasley both very good catchers. Homan and Joziwak are both good SS. Thames is probably the best pitcher in the series but Brenham has very capable arms as well. Its too bad this matchup is happening so early in the playoffs too. Anyway I hope they figure out a way to keep it a 3 game series.
Mine is more of an opinion than an assessment based on fact.
Who is your game 3 pitcher if it did happen?
Johnny Wholestaff
;) alright don't tell me
I can't tell you what I don't know. I could name 3 or 4 guys on the BH roster and maybe 2 or 3 on the Cubs roster. So IMO BH is deeper. I think Thames and the other guy win the first two.

That makes 3 new OC's in 3 years.  I heard they were getting away from exclusively running the flexbone which should get some of the kids excited again as the kids didn't buy into the last system.  Hopefully the kids buy into the new OC's system and start putting in the work during the offseason and preseason to turn things around.
Who is it?
I am pretty sure it is Coach Grimes who has been on the staff at RSS for about 3 years.

 16. Report: UT pitcher helped teammate cheat on drug test Monday, May 6, 2013 AUSTIN – Texas pitcher Corey Knebel’s three-game suspension last week was the result of him providing a urine sample to help a teammate pass a drug test, according to a report in the Austin American-Statesman. Knebel, a junior closer from Georgetown who’s five saves shy of the Longhorns’ career record, sat out UT’s three games against Kansas State last weekend because of what the school called a violation of team rules. A source told the American-Statesman that Knebel gave his urine sample to a teammate who had taken Adderall, an amphetamine banned by the NCAA. On Sunday, UT announced sophomore pitcher Cameron Cox, who pitched in only nine games this season, had been suspended for a violation of team rules. I also saw on Twitter that Bellaire grad Toller Boardman has left the program. He was injured last season and received a medical red-shirt. Not sure why he left.
