LCM beat Silsbee at Lamar University in 1997. Beau Hale pitched and hit his first home run of the year in that game.  Saw it with my own eyes.

I think 14 different pitchers (7 for each team) threw between the two teams in this double header due to being low on pitching on a Monday following tournaments.

Both of the games were much closer than the scores indicate.  Game 1 was tied 5-5 going to the bottom of the fourth.  Game 2 was 7-6 going to the bottom of the sixth.  Game 2 starting pitcher for Lions is said to be going to a good junior college to pitch.  Good luck to him and the Lions the rest of the way.

Rumor is not true. Coach Crouch has a couple of years until eligible to retire.

So now a couple of folks from one particular town have taken swings ar bc, lcm, and wos. The kids on these teams don't deserve that. WOS got rained out today, BC wanted to play ball today so would not get in bind on pitching, and LCM had a bye (but was willing to play) Where did all the ill will come from. Kinda stinks I think.

So we may need that bus after all.... huh Tee?

I stated that our coach agreed to play them today and that it was not official until bc got things ironed out with the district opponent scheduled for today that had declined their offer to play.

 

So is silbee bc today at west sabine? I see two days mentioned above.

LCM has agreed to play BC today in Colmesneil. (game not officially on until things are all ironed out) 

 

But BC making sure it is legal to not play the game that is scheduled with Silsbee (who won't agree to play BC in Colmesneil today)

From what I am hearing, if BC claims that their designated home field Silsbee has to go.

 

LCM just awaiting the word and they will load the bus to go play the game Silsbee has turned down.
