So happy to see this out of the Hawks! Great first win! I think they would've handed it to Cold Springs too. They have some good athletes over there at HJ. Hope they keep it rolling!

All hires are always strange in some way.  The thing is HJ got a good coach that knows the game. I have had some battles with him and his kids were always ready to play.

any word on Jasper QB? Also, by reading the whole game thread, it seems like HJ doesnt fit their new offense well at all. IMO, most of these kids have had the slot T to almost perfection but the coach abandons his strength. Wonder if its too late to go back. HJ has athletes, we know this. Kinda hard to get kids that have been running the same offense for 3 years or more to learn a whole new one in a few weeks.

Huh? Is that a joke or did they really leave? Can someone please elaborate. I sure hope there was a good reason because that sounds like terrible sportsmanship. HJ always seems like they are good kids so I dont see it being because of them.
