Dayton played hard just not to be. #34 is just a sophomore and the kid can ball. I would have him throwing all week and get him a ton of snaps the last 2 games. Anyway hope Dayton can find a way to win on senior night at Bronco stadium but Santa Fe is no joke. One way or the other I will be there. 

How was I talking bad? That kid is a sky scraper.

Game 37-44. Kids played their butts off.

Finally football weather. Can't wait too see this game. PNG always has a great crowd and a serious tradition to go with it. Probably will get tired of Cherokee by the 3rd quarter but it's all good. Just hope both teams play their best game and definitely hope no injuries.

Folks Dayton will be back just like we here at PNG there are lean times that come around. Then one day your sitting at home a buddy calls and says hey man have you heard about the 8 th grader on the football team? You say no. He says man they have been smoking everyone all year. This one kid is a super stud. Next thing there is excitement in the community. A couple of years later you smoke through district and a nice run of playoff runs roll through. Dayton I promise you the DNA is there it will come back around and I predict not far down the road. Hold your heads up and lean on a stellar 20 years run that not to many could match up to. Good luck my purple brothers and sisters

How in the world did the Girls Basketball Coach not make the cut? They went to State like 2 years ago and the Regional Final last year. That is crazy.

Here are my thoughts. Crosby is a great school district who is obviously going through some tough times right now. I think as a district mate of Crosby that I would like to offer up my thoughts and prayers for all of the affected, and all of the kids in the district. I would even consider buying something from the fundraising to help in whatever small way that I could. Remember THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO THE KIDDOS of the district. They deserve better than whatever has hit the school. I hope and pray that the situation is fixed in the near future and also hope for the best for the departing coaches and teachers.

I know there is a lot of purple love going on here, but this is not the Dayton of 5+ years ago. PNG will dominate from the opening whistle through the halftime show and yes even the 4th quarter. 

I’m not saying bellbiz is the one calling these kids out. But believe me it’s happening. I’m just stating the fact that it’s happening, and i think it’s BS. I know there is a better way to handle ones dislikes and gripes but not many will do that. These 36-38 kids are working hard to get where “We” think they should be, they are doing the work but so many sit in the stands and bad mouthe them. I know for a fact that it’s being done because we have a big family, sometimes 30 strong and nearly every ball game they hear comments calling players names out with unwanted and dang sure unneeded and upsetting comments. A couple times they have asked the person/persons to please refrain their comments for another time and place and so far the folks have respected that, and some of those fans are parents of kids that have quit this year as well as past years and some that have graduated. I don’t hide behind a screen name, my son is # 10, Aj Nail. He loves his Broncos beloved, bust’s his tail 7 days a week really, and when he walks off the field each night, he has left it all on the field. Hell i told him after last nights game that he was right at 1650 yards for the season (6games) and 12 tds. He said,”Dad, it ain’t even about that”. Put me right in my place, this young man i know without a doubt is dedicated to turning this thing around, and dang sure don’t deserve some of the comments that has been heard about him and his team. I would rather only see 100 fans in the stands supporting the team and hoping for the best, than 500 running down the team. If the shoe fits, just save your 6 or 7 bucks, and if it don’t fit, come on out to Methodist field Bronco Stadium and support these young men Friday Night for some Friday Night Lights against PNG. A beautiful sea of Purple.

Dayton is our Purple brothers and sisters. I hate seeing them down. They will be back one day. 

I can't wait to see the sea of PURPLE! And takes some pics of that awesome mascot... 
Oh and some of y'all might wanna go to the home side. Y'all travel well. Might not be enough room on the visitor side. 
 

It's so heartbreaking seeing them defeated every single game. I love all those kids pooring their hearts out every Friday night. My heart says Broncos. But my head says PNG. Either way PURPLE wins.... GO BRONCOS!

Dayton has always been a dread. They may be down but never out. I am sure we will have to come and play. Can't look pass anyone in this district.

I didn't see where he was bad mouthing players/coaches. He is basing his opinion on what the season has been so far. Everyone feels the pain of being 0-6. 
I will agree that it is sad that Dayton doesn't come to the games for these kids. Win or lose. 

That was pretty classy for the Nederland coach to sit out the starters I thought. Backups did a pretty good job too. Nederland looks like they are gonna be  good for a while. 
And PNG pulled off the upset of state ranked Crosby!!!!! Had to say it.... Sorry, not sorry. 

Ummmm, Sister would be more appropriate.
