I remember the first time I met Tex at a PNG GCM game in Baytown.  I was sitting there talking to some friends from PNG and he was sitting 2 rows down.  He turned around and said, you're from Crosby, you must be Cal.  I'll miss our friendly banter, dinner bets, and red vs purple shirts bets.  Most of all I'll miss a buddy of mine I met though here and such a loyal caring man that truly cared about his school and the kiddos.  Next year when Crosby plays Dayton, I'll wear purple for you my friend!  You'll be missed by many in the community and you left such a positive mark.  With a heavy heart your family is in my thoughts!

Ok so.. You just made me cry! Bobby would be honored, you wearing purple. Im sure he will be smiling when you do.

  2. So sad.. I just seen him and his wife at the Dayton-Lee Basketball game. He was kind, and giving. Would help anyone who needed it if he could. He was a true Dayton Bronco fan. A former Bronco himself. He loved high school football. Loved talking and watching Friday Night Lights. No matter who was lined up on the playing field. He will be missed by many. I pray peace and comfort for his wife and family. RIP my friend. I will miss you.

Two part question for the bronco faithful.  When Hancock, the handpicked replacement for Stewart by Stewart, was on staff for 18 years, was he a bum then?  Second part just curious what you think his "bad" losses were? Talk amongst yourselves.

No truth in that part of your question. When you had a superintendent (Kurk) who was BFF with the Hancocks at the time the position came available... Well I will let you figure that one out...

You really have an ax to grind with crosby.  Throw all common sense out a window to grind that ax too.  Must be frustrating.

Lol. Nope.. No axes to grind.. Some folks over at King see it differently. But I guess they are wrong. You Crosby folks who think your right about any and all things are right... Ill believe what they said at King..

Not at all, kids lived in Newport, but unlike Nederland when there was an issue with the kids playing, they didn't.  Shocking kids would move in to a different town I know.

So.. Why did they have to go back to King? Moving to Crosby had nothing to do with athletics at all then right? Kids who have lived at King their whole lives. In their Junior Senior year decide to move just a few miles away because their family wanted to.. Got it..
