1. Just catching up on this thread and reading over it made me lol. Pretty much MTC telling it like it is and it all came to fruition. Pirates played a damn good first half tonight, then tried to give the game away again... The score at halftime was the same as the Ozen game. I turned to my friend and said no way they blow this lead for the second week in a row. Well they tried... Good thing our kicker, who doesn't look very good, didn't miss any extra points this week, could have cost them the game. Big day for #7 running the rock, it's a shame though I think the Ozen loss will cost is a playoff appearance.
2. Read this jag and booger and you will know why u r so disrespected across the league get a grip man y'all are losing it! You have made it like this with theses remarks and frankly we are tired of herring it! We have all spent hrs in the back yard thank god yours are so blessed. Trust me I speak for a lot of people!

Sh ....... Shut up geez.........

I believe the whisperer Sh......... Was referring to the ignorant, cocky and brash remarks made in this thread by Bugatti about the Bmt kids out working everyone else in the league while our kids play "playstation". I do not personally know Bugatti and he may be a great guy, but the way he comes across on here... Is kind of the same way Lamar1996 comes across, a delusional fan and not a coach. But in reality he is more like the same as me, a dad that loves his kid, a coach that loves his kids. So I can see where some of his comments come from, we all have a rooting interest in this. That makes us all biased towards our kids/teams and there is nothing wrong with that. He is probably a great guy, Lamar1996 probably is too, if you were to meet them in person. I think this public forum in SETX Sports has proved a couple of main points in my eyes: it brings out the worst in people (we call it "flapping" or "having fun") and we all love our kids.

That is all for tonight, back to the Bud Light and watching the Saints at Cowboys. Love you all, football is a great game and good night.

Oh and one more parting thought...

JJ Watt is an absolute beast and a role model for all aspiring athletes. Walk on, to walk into the Hall of Fame. Dream big work hard kids. Go Texans!
3. You can kick the coaches out of the league from Bmt. You're still gonna have the same problem as you had yesterday, today, and tomorrow and that's stopping Bryce Anderson and Chandler Rivers. They're not going anywhere. The results you see on Saturdays starts at home in the backyard and all summer on the track while you're playing Playstation.

No Bugatti, it's Xbox our kids are playing video games while yours is training. We get it man.. Don't just assume everyone's kid is lazy and that's why yours is good at football. I'm sure your boy puts in the work but other people's kids work hard too. It's just that some kids like to play basketball and baseball. We practice and train year round, it's just always a different sport, depending on the time of year. Don't get too full of yourself there buddy, enjoy your little league football glory.
4. Lumberton Blue 8, Vidor 7….Great defensive game… Vidor is a very good team with good coaching. It was a slugfest. Proud of Raider Blue!

Great game under the lights, both defenses coming up with big stops and huge plays when needed. Very good group of boys on the Lumberton sideline as well. I'm impressed with the Lumberton kicking game, turned out to be the difference. I see y'all have been working on the extra point kick or two point kick or whatever it's called, very well executed and the young man has a good leg. Proud of the fight from the Pirates, no shame in losing a close one to a good team.
5. Good event, all in all I had fun enjoying the games. I prefer to root for all the kids, if a player on the opposing team makes a good shot I give him props for it. If an opponent is shooting free throws I'm quiet and let him concentrate as he shoots. Why can't everyone act this way when they are watching a basketball game? Most people do, but there are some who would rather yell and scream, talk crap, and act like they are a bigger show than the game. Remember people these are young kids you are disrespecting, their parents are in the stands next to you and they don't appreciate it at all. Show some class, yell at a ref for a bad call, yell at the coaches or talk to players on your own team if you want but leave other people's kids and other teams players out of it. I say all this because I witnessed an ugly event at gym 5 today people fighting in a church gym on Sunday. Not going into details, just wanted to shed some light on this subject. Come on people, we are supposed to be the adults here, the kids usually handle themselves just fine and show respect for their opponents.
6. In my opinion Lamar is stupid for not getting Montana. Every time Vidor has played in that stadium the Vidor fans have packed half the stands. So you would instantly have a huge following of paying customers to watch every one of Montana's home games. Not to mention what he can do for you on the field for four years. Big mistake, get the local star Lamar, if you get him they will come. I know I for one don't attend Lamar games, could care less, but with this kid yea me and my family would be season ticket holders and I know there are plenty more like me.
7. Congratulations Montana, you really deserve it. Carried the team to the playoffs two years straight. Playing QB and middle linebacker, who does this? I really wish Lamar could get this kid, I know I for one would love to watch him play out his college career locally, and I'm sure there are many others here in SETX who would pay to see that. Come on Lamar Cardinals you would instantly gain more fans and sell more tickets, but you wouldn't want to do that huh.

no doubt that png is our rival, however, indian faithful, the rivalry would be a bit more fun if you guys played along...this year's game really was about as uninteresting as any I have been to and IMO it was mostly because you guys had resigned yourself to being hammered...it seemed to me that png played "not to lose" rather than trying to win and it made for a very uninteresting game.

vidor, please stop with the rivalry junk...you aren't Nederland's rival today, you weren't yesterday and won't be tomorrow...you guys just had 2 of your best teams ever and still fell short both times...go strike up something with LCM or somebody who doesn't have a real rival...heck that should work since I hear that LCM wants to be png's rival (and can't)...it can be the "We really want a rival" bowl.

Hey don't be acting like we started this. We have kept out mouths shut cuz someone is too scared to be our rival. It was your guys who did this razor.
...or mytwocents chimes in...why would Nederland be scared to be vidors rival...the overall record is EXTREMELY lopsided in Nederland's favor...and Nederland does not "start" talk of a rivalry with vidor...vidor spews hatred and animosity towards Nederland and Nederland just keeps beating vidor.
Look who started the thread man. Come on man. Hatred and animosity?? Really??
The hatred and animosity is coming from Nederland, remember you are the ones who vandalized our school before the game. http://www.kfdm.com/shared/news/top-stories/stories/kfdm_vid_2273.shtml?wap=0
9. Vidor as finally started a competitive youth basketball league this year. At our first Little Dribblers coaches meating who was there to talk to us, Coach Jacks. He went on to talk about the program and building something in Vidor. He even stated that he is happy here and has coached at many different places but he wants to stay put in Vidor and is tired of moving from school to school. Why did he tell us this I dont know but I for one am going to take the man for his word and I think he is not lieing, he will stay in Vidor next year and for years to come.
