Jasper put a thumping on BH not too terribly long ago in the baseball playoffs I do believe before bowing out in a close series against Homer Bailey and crew at LaGrange. (After looking at the UIL archives I see it was Columbus Jasper beat--LaGrange did in BH before they did the same to everyone else.

And then the next year Lorena did it to BH and Jasper as well. Both years BH and Jasper held their own against those two.

Don't remember his name but QB from Rogers was very good one I saw also.

Other good ones I saw besides some mentioned already are Sean Bell and Stephen McGee.

I coach no school, but I find it funny that these BH fans have declared Jasper an easy victory for Huffman.

Huffman finally beats BH for a district championship and BH fans don them Reg. III champs. Gotta love it.

Guess Hubbard wanted back up in the East Texas area..Beckville might return to form with Hubbard at the helm.

Sounds like Shepherd had a lot of tough losses. Hard to stomach that many close losses.

Donald Douglas from Liberty deserves some mention.

Chavis McCollister from Teneha was the best to watch for me, but Teneha is a bit out of the area.

They are the last team in Orange county that I support, but in most cases I would rather them win over maybe Nederalnd or Port Neches or any of the Beaumont schools. What did the overall record in BC district look like? I think HF could be overlooked in Region III along with Jasper and Silsbee. We all know how good BC and Hudson are but these other 3 SE Texas teams will be tough to be beat as well.

I was wondering why BC had no one 2nd team or H.M. but then I went back and counted those on 1st team or individual winners.

When these 2 teams get together you can usually throw the records out the window.

In football maybe..baseball Jasper owns Silsbee. Silsbee played with something to prove..this game Jasper will prove who the class of the district is in baseball once again.

Silsbee has always been competitive in baseball, never really done a lot come playoff time that I can remember though.
