Confused? Bmt. Enterprise said today that ALL LCM has to do is beat Vidor and they are in....that means win or lose, Nederland is out......is this true?

Pullin for Nederland by 10. That is, if Nederland doesn't go in overconfident, if they do, then gonna be a looong nite for the Dogs.

hey bandit, I really do hope Ned wins, but gonna be tough. I believe you predicted PNG to lose by 21 to Central right? Where's the support for the Mid County boys?

hopefully, the halftime won't be "X" rated as it usually is....normally, have to hide the little kids eyes with all the vulgarity the Central band and drill team displays. However, won't be a track meet and don't care if they are pissed or not.....no one "shakin" in their shoes on The Reservation......we'll go in and give it our all . And, PNG has been here before and we are used to it....do your research. We have a good team, they're young, but play with ALL their hearts! I hope it is an injury free game, for both sides! But again, I feel the Indians will come away with the win !

Can't believe you would have a post wishing ill fate on a player! These are high school students out there playing each and every Friday night with their lives ahead of them. I thinks its going to be a close game, with PNG bringing on the upset. Keep thinking PNG is going to be an EASY win, thats what we want. Never, count out a Mid County team, always comes back to haunt you...

Again, thanks Bandsman! Thats what we're gonna have to do, play like "wildmen". Burnett will have these guys ready for Friday....should prove to be a good, ole fashioned, hard fought game. Our guys know whats at stake and will be ready. The winner of this game, will definitely deserve the Win. The same way with Dayton and Nederland.....the winner will deserve the victory.

Thanks tvc. PNG has been "down" and basically "out" by all the polls before. As I've always said, anything can happen on any given night in high school football. Stats don't mean squat when there is a head to head battle during a game. We've already seen upsets this year in 22-4A, and they can continue. I know everyone is picking Dayton over Nederland, Central over PNG and according to the stats, these are pretty good predictions. However, I NEVER count out a Mid County team, whether Nederland or PNG. I'm sure, if things don't turn out the way I hope Friday night, someone will copy and paste this quote and try to cram it down my throat, but, you would support your team as well, right! I hope the Indians win Friday nite and, more importantly, I hope that all the games are injury free.

The announcer at LCM was very obnoxious when we played them . The fans were just being fans....don't believe we had any cars painted....wow, can't believe that happened! But the announcer guy............in my book, he needs to go! Not for sure about the rules....I know a couple of years ago when we played Kilgore in the playoffs, they had this thundering train horn that they blew each and EVERYTIME we had the ball and nothing was done or said about it. I don't think its right, especially if it affects the focus on the game. I still can't believe your cars were painted at LCM and the cheap shots on Mosely....wow...........bet a LOT of NED fans were upset bout that!

Looks like Mid County did it again......! Great game Vidor, you guys were tough! Great goin Nederland, knew you could take care of LCM, however, both Vidor and LCM have some really good teams with a great future....Mid County gonna have to kick it up for next year!
