I am excited to see the PNG defense work against this team. It's obvious we have improved on that side of the ball from past years, but I feel their only real test this year has been WOS. I think this will be a good game for them. I'm going to say no blowout, but Indians win by 14.

It is true that he did not practice yesterday (he suffered a concussion Friday night.) It has been said that he will practice today and play this Friday night.

 

I haven't seen a thing that tells me he has no heart. He's a sophomore starting for the Indians..... Coach Faircloth must see SOMETHING in him!

I can't see Png hanging 60 + on anyone. Coach won't do it. They could have last week, chose to call off the dogs in third qt and just run the ball mainly.

 Came close though! Even when you call off the dogs, you can't tell the kids to stop playing. The last TD scored against TCH was a "one more play to get the clock down then we'll take a knee" situation.... and they scored. I suppose this might be a good night for our second string to get some playing time. I'm no good at predicting scores, so I'll just say PNG by a lot.

He was walking down the stands, slipped on the last bleacher and hit his head real hard on the railing. EMS got to him quickly.

I'm curious to see how many people attend the game. I'm thinking about making the trip, I just don't think I can wait another week for some Indian football. The weather looks good for tomorrow night

Since its locals only, there has never been a game more thrilling than the battle for the DC in week 10 2009 at the Babe (PNG/Central). PNG blocks xp, Kerr or Benoit (don't member) catches it mid air and laterals to Dunbar who returns it 103 yards for two to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat!!!
I thought that old stadium was gonna fall down that night just as sure as I thought they'd catch Dre around the 20. Neither happened. 12 seconds of pure adrenaline. And that folks is why we love watching Friday Night Football.

How it bounced off our guys face mask and landed into the hands of the fastest player on our team, is a pure miracle. Here you go. Enjoy!

Here's a little trivia I found interesting... In one of these threads someone mentioned that they thought Morse reminded them of Dustin Long, and Morse is also wearing the #17 jersey. We all love Dustin Long for taking us to state all those years ago, but does anyone know who handed us our only loss that season (other than the state champion)???

If that's all he wanted to say, he could have just said that without mentioning he was on the crew. In my opinion, the only reason to mention that he was officiating the game on that post, would have been to further explain some of the questions. But that isn't what he decided to do. Instead, he chose to use foul language and make personal attacks on people instead of taking the opportunity to have a discussion. If people were doubting the character and integrity of the officials, his commentary didn't do anything to dismiss that.

I certainly agree they were confused. Actually to me they looked like they have never worked together.

Maybe you're on to something there. That could explain a lot of the conversating.

The.. ah hem... Gentleman that commented on PNG Tribune's Facebook page said he won't be doing Nederland games. His daughter goes to school there.

Damn. Wasn't done typing and have no idea how to edit. I was trying to say... The later are typical if all games. It's the feeling that they were completely confused that bothered me the most. If they're confused on the basics, how CAN we trust they are calling a good game?
