Wow I cant believe Kirbyville and Kountze are putting such large targets on themselves this early in the year. So Much Emotion!

Kvillecats may be right but I dont think they understand that the 3 teams that made the playoffs last year will be much improved. They all 3 will be better than they have been in years. 

Someone must step up be a man, and recomend to the board that chester consolidate with its neighbors. Corrigan Woodville or Colmesneil. They are doing more harm than good by keeping the doors open. Those who think differenty have their heads in the sand. The kids deserve better.

can someone explain why most of the state championships in football and baseball come from central,west or northeast texas. and a majority of the D1 talent comes from east texas.

I have a question. In a playoff game saturday a hitter in the batters box was standing on the line in front of the box. The kid hit the ball but in the process his stride was outside the box. The catcher questioned the ump on the ruling and was told he could not call balls and strikes and watch the feet too what is the ruling

Just keep in mind nothing worth having is easy. Everyone likes dicipline until it applies to them.Keep the mothers away from practice, give the keys to the coach, back him at all cost because there will be people that cant handle the pressure and enjoy the ride.

This could be a good hire for Warren. If coach Woodard brings the 903 area code attitude to warren you will see a difference. Look at all the State Championships in the State of Texas for the past 20 Years. Most All are won from central, west,and north east texas,not because they have better talent,but because of the attitudes the coaches and communities alike.Most towns in these areas shut down to support the kids. Warren and Colmesneil I believe have made changes that will help their programs.

Torin Hickman Woodville C,RHP 88-89 from the mound 1.81 pop time 84 from behind the plate. Huge stick.

A bases loaded triple in the Grand Canyon ended the ball game. 390 in the alleys 411 dead center. Any other park even Minute Maid and it is a walk of Grand Slam.

The reason it didnt look 90 is Hickman almost matched #15 in velocity and had a better curve ball and change up. Was told the kid from Shepard is only a sophomore.

who is #15 for Shepard and why is this kid under the radar. 90+ on the radar and no one has heard of him. unbelieveable. congrats to Woodville on the win.

[/quote]      please dont take dont misunderstand, Woodville probably has one of the best catchers in the area, If not the best. you steal on the pitchers, they are slow to the plate. Hickman poped a 1.81 last night threw out a silsbee runner on a curve ball. just need to be quicker to the plate.

woodville is not very strong offensively or defecively silsbee will be able to run the bases at will.

Guys dont be to harsh on Goodrich. Chester has chosen this path.It is no longer about the kids. It is about saving the few jobs that are left at the school. No one wants to admit it is detremental to the school, town ,and kids, to operate like this.
