I believe maybe a band bus had a flat.

When you have numerous false starts, some indecisiveness on run lanes, and couple dropped passes. Sure, they won a game that should have been won but that doesn’t mean execution has to suffer. We have all seen a less talented team win due to poorly football disciplined team. (Silsbee has seen that a few times over the past 15 years when a similarly talented team has rolled into town. Talent doesn’t always win out.). The team has played well thus far. Lots of 2 way starters. Attrition will creep up when playing deeper teams. So far the coaches have prepared the kids. Kids are feeling good and that’s half the battle. Keep digging boys take it week to week. You’re doing good.

Offense was a bit sloppy this week. Gotta get the blocks in and rbs need to commit and go. Defense is pretty salty against the run.

Ktz qb play was atrocious with ball security. Defense played really well.

21-0 Kountze at half

Hemphill definitely isn’t in game shape. Second half was a cramp fest which extended the game way too long. Kountze took advantage of miscues when needed. A few missed plays here and there actually cost Kountze from putting more on the board. Rain and poor field conditions hurt both teams.

Last I heard was possibly in Spring next Friday.

Looking from the outside in, anyone close to football saw that there was going to be little drop off at wos regardless who was on the sideline. From a mystique standpoint the “mustang in your head” factor was put to rest for Silsbee in November 2018 during a thunderstorm in New Caney. Things cycle for most teams you guys just have not been used to it.
