1. Tough one tonite. Next week we will be ready!
2.

LC-M will be fine.  They lost to the best 3 teams in the district.  Look for them to beat at least one of them next go round.
Dogs did great job tonight.FYI this is Feltman, not (the dogs 1987)
Dogs did do great last night!!!  Thanks  ;)
3. Ned JV shut out the Pirates at home tonite....Great pitching White and Hernandez - 2 Big Guns.  Those kids can shoot!!! 8)
4.
Is Ramoin a soph or junior?
JR
5. Shy...they've gone after hs coaches for less.  In press, in community, on this board.  Job performance is done for all of us, even for those who work fast food.  You are measured for productivity.  And that's how it should be.  School they give you grades. LU is not in Siberia, it's a D1 school that's building everyday for big and better.  Coach G doesn't have lure them in, the program speaks loud and clear. However, none of his superiors wants to STAND UP to Coach G. FACT.  You can quote me on that one.  As I have repeated, just because you can stay somewhere doesn't mean you should. Coach G should retire and do the best for his legacy, no matter if he squeezes out something positive or not this season.
6. I hear the tom tom beating.... PNG might beat their toms toms louder tomorrow night if LCM topples Ned....which I don't foresee. PNG is driving the bus, either way!!
7. Tues, Wed, It doesn't matter....Dogs are ready. Any coach who doesn't do everything in power to help his team is NOT worthy of the title.
When a coach is allowed to make the call on the field conditions,I am sure his judgement could be clouded to benefit his team. The district has pour rules IMO.If you can't play on your field you should have to play on theirs.A coach could turn on the water all night to make his field unplayable.Bull Durham!
Coaching is 90% luck and 50% brains. Dogs pound LCM with Brown on mound.  I'm not over confident just know what Brown will do and what mind set LCM will be in.  Dogs win!
8. Ned JV shut down LCM JV behind Ramoin's Gun.  Couldnt even count how many strikeouts he had tonite-well into double digits.  They only had a few scratches.  Fast ball overpowering and what a curve!!!  He can throw it at any time. 8) NED JV sitting nice.  Varsity next year will be loaded!!!!! ;)
9. Well said, both KingSnake and baseball 25. No one has disrecpted Coach G's body of work  @SHlyKBMT, what he's done for LU, and on  on and on, However, I will repeat.....Just because you CAN stay, doesn't mean you should. Time to retire and let his bird fly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10.
Not a great outing by png last night errors and hits were almost even. Big emotional win over lcm seemed to still be hanging around. But a w is a w . Foshe for vidor was pretty good. Coach green really had them fired up. Big week next week with livingston coming to town. A lcm win over ned would really help png out.
Errors don't hurt you, until the other team scores because of it. (EVERY player makes them, even pro's).  PNG has strung the right stuff together when they needed, and the bad stuff when it didn't hurt them...that's why they are winning the big games. Wish Dogs had that kind of luck and ability!!!
11.
Don't you think the assistant coaches are having a hard time recruiting when many players from other schools do not want to come to Lamar because of Gilligan? I wouldn't blame the assistant coaches for the recruiting, since they have something holding them back. Theres a lot more to the problem than everyone thinks.
For fact, I know someone who All-state pitcher in Texas who refused to accept Lamar offer due to Gilligan and His ISLAND and choose another D1 school.  Gilligan needs to Go!  If Lamar is smart, they'd start planning his retirement party and invite him to it.  Then he might get the hint.  Otherwise, he'd better buy more lotto tickets than he did yesterday.  That might be his best numbers of the year!!!!!
12. Like  ;D  what I am seeing of the Dogs. Not to happy to get LCM after 2 losses.  Fults will be looking to paying us for their last couple of games. Dogs can do it!  It won't be easy. With Brown on the mound, it will be a pitching duel.  Go Dogs!
13. PNG is sitting on top.  It's their race to lose. Still looking forward to our rematch with them at home. 8)
14. Brenham Fan...thanks!  Very impressive.
15. It's sad just to know there is a schedule....and so many days away to the first game..... Ready for some football!!!!  The best thing about summer is at the end of it, IS THE BEGINNING OF FOOTBALL! ;D
Ned has a #1 and #2. There are no "regular" starters.  You earn what you get in Ned.  The best player will be on the mound for Ned. Looking ahead, for this group, there is 1, 2 and maybe a third.  These players have to have the potential to develop and strengthen into a Varsity pitchers.  Just because you pitched when you were 13 doesn't put you on the mound in hs.  If you want little Johnny to play, go to Png.  However, yours might not be the one they want.  I know that they would love to have our Big Gun on the mound playing for them.  Their group at this level is pitching poor. Look at the Varsity and tell me what you see.  Some parents belly ached for their kids to pitch earlier in hs and now the are not even on the field anywhere at the Varsity level. Little league is over,it's time to put it on the field.  Go Dogs ;)
please post and let us know when the"BIG GUN" is on the mound, so we wont miss this kid because so far, i havnt seen one yet that i would call a "BIG GUN". Ive seen 4 kids that should be starting and closing
Apparently, ACCORDING to your post, there are no guns in Ned. I let the kid know who signed to play baseball on collegiate level your "thoughts'  ::) I have watched Ned Baseball  ;D a long time and I have seen many great pitchers.  Nederland is sitting pretty with this class on up thru Varsity.  Maybe you should rename your "New" name something other than Nederland in it. Nederland has followed a  1, 2  punch on the mound for awhile....maybe your just sour grapes and have a beef about your  :'( little johnny...i don't really know.  There is always football, your odds are increased.  Then again, probably not. I call it like I see it.  Take that for what's worth.  8)
17.
Nederland looked steady last night...good pitching from Brown and Sanderson who combined for 10 K's...Raines chipped in offensively with two hits...next up, Ozen Friday night.
Sanderson always does a nice job on the mound.  Enjoy watching his success. Brown nice work as always.  Feel like a lucky dog with him on our team. Go Dogs!
18. Coach G has done everything he can and now it's time to bow out gracefully. ::) The program is rusting with age.  That's the only red that been put on this season for baseball. Yeah, yeah, he's been a good coach, great for LU, but sometimes in Kenny Rogers's words, you got to know when to fold 'em. ;) Holding on because you can, doesn't mean you should. Fold'em Coach G.
19. No offense to you Lifesaball.... I have been positive of png this season.  My point was if you don't want to wait in Ned go to Png.  It's worked for some who were at Ned. Winey parents just turn my stomach!    Their kids are NOT TEAM players, either.  Good Ridance to them.  Ned doesn't want them anyway!!! Ned has some big guns on the mound at ALL LEVELS and I look forward to seeing these pitchers mature on Varsity, and if you been going to our games, you'd know. Look forward to seeing the showdown again vs Png at the varsity level.  It's always fun to see mcm at any level.   Go Dogs!

21. It's hurts me to say this.... Png puts it all in place at the right time, and they come up with another nice win tonite. It truly has been a team effort for them this season, nice use of pitching as well.  Look forward to seeing them again this season....well, not really. :o  ;D :'(
22. Dogs looked nice tonite....waiting for our rematch with png ::)
23.
Ned soph played a good game but almost let it get away from them. They beat lumberton 13-9. Bordelon and Chandler did a great job, pitched 4 innings and only gave up 1 hit each. The next four pitchers gave up 9 hits in 1 inning. Lets go Ned Soph you got this!
Correction:  8) Next several pitchers gave up some hits, several E's behind them.      Most definetly,  pitching was not lacking for Dogs at any point in this game.  Saw wholesale changes take its toll. Smith came in a jam and got them out of the mess and closed the game for Dogs.  Great relief by Big Lefty. Dogs spread the time and opened the door for the Raiders. No worries for this group of Dogs....I see a nice future with these kiddos.
24. Like what I see of Png this season. Take the Bears in this one by several if this is a home game for them. If at Reservation, it could go either way in a close one. Winner takes control of the district race ::)
