  1. There is no rest for the weary as 20-4A turns back around for some Saturday afternoon action as the Livingston Lions travel down to Hardin County to take on the Lumberton Raiders.  The Lions, fresh off of a 2-0 shutout of Nederland last night, stand at 7-3 in district play tied with Little Cypress-Mauriceville for 2nd place in 20-4A.  The Raiders, coming off of a loss to Port Neches-Groves last night, will be looking to play spoiler today. Join Ken Luck for the first pitch at 1:00 p.m. this afternoon from Lumberton by tuning into The Eagle, KETX 92.3 FM or by clicking on the following link: [Hidden Content] Enjoy 20-4A baseball right here on Your Source for Sports in Southeast Texas, SETXsports!!!
  2. I agree with LCM36. We have one of the hardest districts in the state to "escape from" and grab a play-off spot. The top four teams are basically battling for seeding at this point, unless Vidor wins out. Credit is due to all of them for playing hard every game. Among the top four, we are talking a difference of 1 and 2 points each time they play. Wins at this point come down to pitching and defense. An error can cost you the whole game, especially when most of the points aren't even hitting the board until the 6th and 7th innings when they play each other. Great win for the Lions.
  3. Got a final score yet?  What a blow to Nederland if this one gets away.
  4. Man, that seemed like a quick game. a close one too. PNG just always seems to pull it off. They know how to win.
