Or maybe Nederland isn't as good as they were earlier. THEY way they played Dayton certainly opens up the thought process.
So does it also open up the possibility that the Ozen girls are beatable after trailing 22-2 & 28-5 Tuesday night against Huntsville? They've been dominant all year, yet it looked like they were going down. They made the appropriate adjustments, and i assume they were the better team, or Maybe they are not as good as they were earlier either?? "The way they played HUNTSVILLE certainly opens..."
I have 110% faith in Knight.  Keep it coming!!!  Bottom line is one night they play hard, the next night they don't.  It is a terrible mindset.  And only having about 9 kids who play any kind of minutes is tough because you don't have the luxury of going to the bench for some help. Keep doing what your doing Coach Knight........
I agree

 8.
It took awhile for me to have time to weigh in on the game. First, congrats to HF. I think the game was there for the Indians taking but the HF fans have exposed our glaring weakness on this thread. It says volumes about the state of a program when your opponent calls out your lack of coaching. I mean they are the ones benefiting and still saw it necessary to make the observation. I'm glad you did because I have referenced it more than once on here. If you attended that game you could only wonder why this particular individual would be incharge of such a talented program. A talent pool that has existed for well over the last decade. Its time for a change and for this coaching era to come to an end for the sake of the program and the present teams near future. I know the man personally and he is a fine individual but that has nothing to do with coaching the game of basketball. It not personal, its just business. I would like to thank and congratulate the Indians for a great season. I think its only going to get better. Good luck HF the rest of the way.
Whoa dere Indian! Haven't your past years and prior teams been very successful? Iknow time flies fast but I seem to remember last year or two, you've done well in basketball. Agreed, you do have a history of floundering in the playoffs.
 9. By this round, you can't take any team light.

 15. Man, can we only imagine the hype if Ozen and Nederland meet AGAIN!!! 8)
 16. What I have learned is that fans just want to hear the good news about their teams. Every team or player has weaknesses. We read or hear about it starting in college so maybe high school is still off limits. Playoff time is the beginning of a whole new season. What teams beat who last month makes no difference now. I mean c'mon, Nederland almost lost to a team that won't be able to spell p-l-a-y-o-f-f for the next 3 years in a watered down UIL playoff system. ;)
 17. Sometimes asa coach you can hardly wait to get rid of all the dead weight and have *your* guys come in under your system. Seniors should be leading the teams and shwing the way for the up and coming players.

Sound like another team you know?  ;) I've talked to a few people about them, and was told that they play the game very similar to Nederland.
They are good, but beatable. Nothing spectacular, just an all around good team. They don't have a Prudhomme or K. Smith type player. Nederland should match up well against them.
Actually, those are the more dangerous teams in the playoffs.  Those teams that are well rounded are very hard to stop.  You can't key in on just one or 2 things.  They do a lot of things well from different spots whereas teams with your K. Smiths and your S. Prudhommes, you know where the damage will come from.  Don't let your guard down.  Consider ALL of these teams dangerous.  At the same time, Nederland has it's strength.  Coaching and great roll players and a couple of big gamers in Weisbrod and English.  (English showed a playoff flare/swagger that I like in the game vs. Dayton).
Good points Soulja. I know English and Co will not overlook ANYONE (especially after last night). He scouted them Friday night against Brenham, so I expect he will have a good game plan-WIN!  8)
::) yEAH like Dayton, huh 8)
