  1. At the Dayton / Barbers Hill game on Friday there were no less than 6 Bay Area officials sitting in the stands on The Hill's side dressed in blue and white, and one of those include a school board member that officiates games in 19-4A.  There has got to be some kind of ethics problem if this is being allowed.  Let me see a school board member for Barbers Hill calling games that can directly influence the outcome and playoff position of teams within the same district as Barbers Hill.  He has the right to officiate, I just believe he should not call any games in 19-4A.

Do not get me wrong I am not saying the officiating cost Dayton the game by any means, (it sure did not help Dayton either), but it was crazy looking across and seeing all of these officials that I have watched call varsity games in Dayton sitting on The Hill's side wearing blue and white.
  2. Here is someone else showing their ignorance.  The reason for that score has already been discussed on this board and I will not go back into it but for your own understanding you can go to the Texas Education Agency and pull up the school's AEIS report and see for yourself that the Unacceptable rating for Dayton high school had nothing to do with TAKS scores.

Keep trying to find chinks in the armour and just keep adding fuel to the a** whipping that is coming.
  3. I can assure there is no reason to bash him at work.  He will be more than happy to meet with the 2 dads and discuss anything they would like to talk about.  But I bet you they hide at work in the coffee room and grip, to scared to man up and make a visit and talk to his face.  Typical water cooler fans.

Come on jiggs don't do that..If you would of been at the Dayton/Brenham  game you should of heard the majority of the fans bashing Stewart after the game for his play calling..Still today at work the people from Dayton were still bashing Stewart even 2 players Dad were still hot...Said the article's writer stays up Stewart you no what..Nothing but spin control.....

  4. Wrong again genious.  Payton Ploch through district scored 114 points, Jacacy Evans scored 108.  You are being shot down everywhere you turn.  And for the season they were TIED.  Great job Jacacy.  See it is not that hard to congratulate a player from the other side.  He was a very good runningback.  But no one in District 19-4A did more than Ploch for his team.  Argue that....

"By the way who was the leading points leader in 19 4A???????????
I believe it was Evens from Crosby.......... Lets see what he gets??????

  5. No they shouldn't have had those two superlatives.  The QB was not even the best in the district, look at the stats.  Their offense was the 5th best in the district, and their defense was #3 in the district.  So why should the MVP's come from this team?

Crosby should have the offensive and defensive MVP for the district and you know the names.

  6. I tell you what.  Let's play this saturday and have a rematch.  Oh wait, all of your equipment has been put up and the Broncos are playing for another Region 3 championship.  So, we will see you next fall in what should be a fun game.

ok so the people from dayton have got to be the most retarded people ever and lets face it the little team up the road as coach stewarts refers to us as beat dayton 28-0 so i'm sure we all know who the best in district 19-4a is

  7. That is funny right there, I don't care who you are.  The call has already been placed by Dayton to play Crosby next year if for some reason they are not in the same district.  For some reason it has not been returned.  Go figure...

PNG,Central are still in it.Dayton is the only team in this decade to come out of it.We would like to come back if it's ok?

  8. It is very easy to find that information.  Just go to the school districts website and look up their AEIS report.  But the one thing that 4x4 has done is take that information and used it to fit his argument.  He talks bad about Dayton but if you look at their AEIS report compared to Crosby, then you notice that Dayton scored better on every facet of the TAKS test for 10th graders in 2008 than Crosby's 10th graders.  But if I was like 4x4 I would leave at that and say that Dayton is better.  But if you look at 11th graders then Crosby did score better in each subject than Dayton did by an average of 4 points in each subject which correlates to getting one more question correct on the test.  For 9th graders Dayton and Crosby scored the same in Reading and Crosby was better in Math.  As far as ACT and SAT scores are concerned then Crosby is higher on the SAT BUT Dayton is higher on the ACT.  There is a ton of information out there for people to use but at least use it honestly so that you are not trying to call kids in other places dumb.  Those kids have worked hard as well.

4x4OFFROAD, We'll try and get back to football ,since thats the forum, but how would you be so privy to BH SAT scores? and the averages you quote of 1027 to 991, huh??? anybody whos ever taken an SAT knows the scores are given in even increments of 10, example 1100- 1200 etc.. It would be imposssible to have those types of averages.....

  9. Honestly, if you had a kid that was a good athlete and had been misused in a place and you wanted him to have success where would you rather him play, Crosby or Dayton?  For Flannigan or Stewart.  The kid moved and that is the end of it.  Crosby even put in their article this summer that their starting RB out of spring was a transfer from where? DAYTON!!!  So they traded a starter for a starter.

  10. Who have they played?  Got blown out by Pearland who is pretty good.  Beat a Bellaire Episcople team that is well, average at best.  Good for a private, but not for anyone else, and a Pasadena school who could not beat most JV's in the area.  They are improved but let's not hand them the crown yet.

Coach Boyd has been quite Kiffin like in his speeches around Baytown about Dayton.  Amazing how that stuff gets back to the ears that really need to hear it.  Boyd forgets that Coach Stewart has more fans in Baytown than he ever will, from the glory days of Sterling.  Be careful what you ask for because you may just get it!!!

  11. If the score was 56 - 14 at halftime, then Ennis did not run up the score.  They could have set a new state scoring record but they ended the game with 62.

    gross

God Blesss the young men from Crosby. This was uncalled for. Running up the score says we have a weak mindset and low selfesteem. Welcome to the ugly side of football were you degredate the other team out of pure look at me look at me.  Crosby is a good old homtown bunch of guys who did not deservr this. Good luck to Ennis may you have many blowouts in your future god bless the kids at ennis also who were order to smeer the field with the other teams self respect. I certainly hope that the outcome of the game gives you what you want. To be bumbed up in the rankings.

  12. Xavier does not have to be the next AJ Dugat.  There are only so many HS All Americans walking around the planet.  Xavier is just a piece of the puzzle that will help the TEAM in Dayton win.  He is not the end all answer but just another piece of the puzzle along with Payton Ploch, Tony Hill, Aaron Jenkins, Jakarai Delasbour, and many others.  As good as AJ and Cody were they were nothing without the TEAM around them, and they would tell you that very thing.  There are some new faces that will catch everyone's attention, not just Xavier Franks.

  13. Its not the coach who gets this kid a scholarship, its his play on the field and his work ethic, and if your from Crosby you ought to know his work ethic..Has not been to one summer workout this summer or one last year..He could get exposure by attending the college camps this summer but has chosen not to,because he has no work ethic...Is that Flanigans fault????How many times has he quit and then come back???Had to be begged to run track and finally came out halfway thru the season...This kid has more athletic talent than any kid i have seen in years and if he had any kind of work ethic he would of been a 5-star recruit this year...

That says about all you need to know about Crosby and the difference in work ethic and expectations which start with the head man.  If he was allowed to do those things then why was he still in the program for 3 years?  Kids will get away with what you allow them.  He will have a clean slate in Dayton.  If he chooses to act like a Cougar he will not be around long.  If he chooses to act like a Bronco he will be a champion, learning how to work and what it takes to succeed.  It all starts at the top with the expectations and demands of the head coach.

  14. It don't matter.. Dayton will be a solid team, but there will still be a drop off from last year..You can't replace AJ  and Cody Green......Dayton is very beatable this year in district, but yeah they got talent and should be the favorite to win it..

One great thing is your team from the hill will get a chance to come to bronco stadium and prove how beatable they are.
