1. Why do you still use this nickname since you are coaching in Crosby now?  How are the lady Coogs looking?

Yep...and unlike Dayton, will be ALL YEAR LONG.

Enjoy the next few weeks of "for realness".  Then its the long wait till September again.   Go Broncos!

    QB01
I coach the running backs at GCM. I talk to them after every series. I just dont do it sitting on the bench. I encourage our players constantly. Its always easier to coach from the bleachers when you don't know what's going on.

  3. "taxpayer" Hum....let me think about this one...that word always comes up when it comes to school "business"...I guess that means teachers and coaches, who are taxpayers, pay themselves. Just saying. Everyone has an opinion and it's a free country. Now back to football...
  4. First of all get your facts straight before running your mouth.  It was a b team player on the freshman level that played on the freshman a team.  Dayton did not have enough people because of injuries.  So instead of not having a b game Dayton chose to pull one kid up.  They pulled their best player out of the A game and put a B team player in his place when the game was out of hand.  BH should have been happy.  If dayton would have cancelled the B game yall would not have scored or won a game.

Crosby still has a residual inflated sense of self worth since they got that new WalMart 5 years back.
HAHA Crosby is great so sad in Baytoen you have to speak Spanish i say crosby 60 maybe 65 REL is gonna get what dayton had last year 0 hahahaha
Looks like that's quite an education they're handing out in Crosby these days...nice post
bad part is taks scores are way higher than daytons.....
Be careful about making statements about TAKS scores that you really are not sure of.  This has already been posted once and the guy from Crosby was shown to be wrong.
Crosby's is as high or higher in everything........Just looked and is not wrong....http://www.greatschools.org/test/landing.page?state=TX&tid=16

Depends on how you look at the information given.  If you look at the information from YOUR website that you used then you will notice that for 10th graders Crosby does lead in 10 areas as opposed to 5 for Dayton since 2006.  If you look at 11th graders EXIT level information Dayton is ahead of Crosby in 11 areas as as opposed to 2 for Crosby.  They are tied in 2 areas for the 11th grade test.

In overall areas tested from 9th grade through 11th grade then Dayton leads Crosby in all areas tested by a score of 18 - 17 areas tested.  So you were saying???  That is a great website.  Thanks for sharing.

You can take my word for it or not, it really does not matter.  If you would rather listen to the conjecture and feel that makes a better coffee shop discussion then go ahead.  But I can assure you I know more of what is going on than anyone else on this board.

Bottom line AJ did not like Phillips, his position coach, who is now the OC.  Quit trying to make stuff up about him being released for other reasons.  He did not like it there, quit going to class, handled it wrong and now will have to fight to make his way back to Div. 1 football, if he wants to play again.  Being released for a bat and gun is not true.

You wanted to know what happened, there it is in a nutshell.  A personality conflict that could not be resolved.  The kid will move forward despite what the people in Kountry Kitchen have to say about him.
Are you A.J.'s daddy?

And I suppose we are just to take your word on it. Yea right. ::)

There are three sides to every story. Side A, side B and usually somewhere in the middle, the truth. ;)

  10. I am glad that you all know exactly what happened and have found him guilty already.  I know for a fact that it has nothing to do with the bat or gun issue.  The statement that Sumlin put out is a generic statement put out by universities whenever an athlete makes a decision not to continue at the school.  If AJ stays at Houston then the report says transfer.  Since AJ made a decsion not to continue at Houston and he chose a different route then the school gets to put that they kicked him off for violating team policy and Sumlin gets to look like a disciplinarian.

Has AJ made a great decision, I do not believe so but it is one made and there will be consequences to that decision.  Have you all made great decisions in everything you do?  If so, by all means judge him, if not, get off the kid's butt and hope that he can find his way and make a better life.
