Dayton's 7th grade team is legit! I think they play Crosby 7th grade next week and that would be a good one. That Dayton team is disciplined, tackles well, and are just something special. Yes I know 7th grade and things change but good lord they are tough!

Man the comedy on here is great, but I have to give it to BHFan for the best comebacks, classic and then I see his goofy avatar, he is that kid in school you want to hang with and laugh but not get too close when the principal or cops come around. I think it is going to be a good game, 7 points either way, physical. But if you think that there is an excuse for png , no way. That is CHEATING and there is no way it was a one time happening. Not Barbers hill fault I applaud them for doing the right thing and not the liberal, politically correct thing. Cheating is cheating, follow the law and rules. No excuses.  all cheaters should be turned in. That is why the Ohio st Coach is now having headaches again like he did when he dropped out of Florida, he knows he was wrong for keeping that coach on staff .

I hope everybody keeps in mind that the reporting of this UIL violation by the BH coaching staff resulted in BH no longer having a clinched playoff spot. That is what you call putting what's right above your own gains. Something that PNG apparently knows nothing about.

Sorry if you’re offended.  It wasn’t meant to be.  I was merely pointing out one of the problems the new Coach at BH has to overcome.  Also, I did not mention Crosby because I’m not familiar with their history over the 65 years that I’ve watched, or kept up with, PNG & Ned (Btw, I’m not from Ned or PNG).  I based my assessment on what I’ve seen, or kept up with, which is “east of the trinity football”.  I do know both Ned and PNG have won State Championships.  My post was not an assessment of BH’s whole season, but only of that one game.  To point out an intangible the Coach cannot overcome in a couple of years.  I do think anyone writing off BH over that one game might be surprised.  In summary, relatively few teams have that tradition/heart.  It’s not a “win all”, but it’s something I grudgingly admire, the mindset to never quit.
Btw, the very thing Crosby exhibited last week against Manvel.  What an inspirational victory.

I am a Barbers Hill transplant as most of us are and this kinda offends me a little anyway. You say Tradition when you talk about PNG or Nederland like they have always been at the top or even good. Tradition = Heart??? Here are some numbers that I could find. I went 20 years, because I don't know how long tradition is? Nederland 554-376-35 Last 20 years 161-76 PNG 589-345-33 Last 20 years 147-77  BH 577-309-27 Last 20 years 153-65  Crosby 451-418-33 Last 20 years 145-84. Wheres the extra tradition or heart or mindset that you are talking about that yall have east of the trinity? They look like the same programs to me. Crosby is on a roll now, but the last 20 years are not that impressive. Barbers Hill lost a lot last year more than the numbers they lost the leadership of a few that had been starting since their Soph. year. You can't replace that right away. I will take Crosby & Barbers Hill for the next 10 years in all sports

Kinda funny. All I heard was BH was going to need athletes moving in before ole TW could be competitive. Well all I see is a bunch of BH kids been there forever throwing up huge numbers. Dang near 200 yds receiving in 1 game is crazy and Cameron seems to be just getting better. Congrats again.

Cracks me up. All I heard when I said TW would have BH turned over in no time was BH needed all these transfers. Well that qb was just sitting there waiting for a coach. Coaching coaching coaching in that order wins games. Cameron is a great kid and I'm happy he is getting to show what he can do.

Never catch me wearing a BH or Crosby shirt. I will be out supporting them come playoff time though.

You can't tell those folks anything. No matter what happens, they're better than everyone and if it's shown they're not, then it's someone else's fault. BH might eat that lunch next week.

Here I will tell you the truth Our Soph QB has over 1000 yards rushing and and 24 touchdowns. The other thing is he led 22-5a in passing with 1745 yards and 20 more TD's as well. He is a true dual threat QB that is what they are a trying to say. Our defense is right at the top in 22-5a. second I think. We have a solid team. I expect a good game. I think it could go either way. I would give the Indians a slight favorite. I have my self studied many games of BH. I have seen areas were we can be successful and areas were BH can be successful. I would give PNG the slight edge right now. One thing is for sure its why we play the game. Good luck BH a fine program with a great history.

We played Crosby 2 games later and got destroyed. Ya'll didn't make enough adjustments to beat BH 10 out of 10 , much less Crosby.  I do like ya'lls positive outlook though. Crosby still sinks the ship.
