I thought Vidor was gonna win the series. In the first game Vidor won 25 to about 15. But Silsbee was able to capitalize on weaknesses and got the best of them.
I wouldn't call it domination. Domination would be a 3-0 series. ;D ;) -
They played extremely well. It was a fun game to watch. 8)

Now I might be incorrect, but didn't Foreman just get his[b][u] first [/u] [/b] head coaching job??? He has tried to get several head coaching jobs in the past and finally got his chance with Central. I wish him well and hope he has success at Central.
But, Coach Haynes has been a successful head coach and athletic director for years. How is he the "new Toby Foreman". He left Hardin and threw his name in the hat for Westbrook, was a finalist, then BISD decided to go with Flanigan. Other than that, he has been patiently waiting for the right job. He would do a great job there in Lumberton. Hope we find out soon who gets this job. Have any other names been thrown out there?

[/quote]Just got word from HD AD/HC Josh Finney. HD will be scrimmaging Vidor's JV and some Varsity kids that Vidor's HC wants to get a good look at. Either way a good test for the HD Bobcats, as they work to built a 1A State contender this season.
