HD will not have a school district by the year 2020, says the little "crystal ball".
Raywood and parts of Daisetta - to Liberty
Hull and parts of Daisetta - to Hardin
Take it to the bank.

Watched them play against Vidor. Very good players.

District 23AnahuacBunaDeweyvilleHardinKirbyvilleKountzeWarrenWinnie East ChambersSome people moved out, some moved in, but these are teams we're used to. Like to see the old district back. Not having to go to Corrigan and Newton for every sport.

Was just passing through center. Saw a mc Donald's, whataburger, two hotels, couple hardware stores,Taco Bell and yes Walmart. The sign showed a pop of about 5100. Yet Huntington has one light, that might work might not. Couple banks, couple food joints, and a Brookshire bros. there pop sign show bout 2100. I say UIL should classify schools by if you have a Walmart or not. I mean dang center like other schools are a metropolis compared to Huntington. Madisonville in there district now and they have a buckees. That should make u a 5a right there.
Hey Deweyville is getting a donut palace soon. Does that count for anything?! :D :D

On the offensive side of the ball, we are losing 4 players that gained yards this season. Collins, Greer, Dupuy, and Hryhorchuk. All four have gained 3693 out of 4341 of our rushing yards (85% of our run-game) and Dupuy passed for 495 yards, and we are losing 86 yards from that small passing game (17%). The leading rusher out of the underclassmen was Waldrep with 252 yds. But if I remember right, He's going to QB. Which with our offense, he could still rack up tons of yards as Dupuy did. I see Henson taking Collins spot. Henson had 132 yards on 17 carries last season (7.8 yds/carry). Returning 10 players who touched the ball last season. But still that only amounts to 15% of our run game. Big shoes have to be filled.

Yeah I counted the kids that will be seniors from this past season roster. Minus a couple. I think there were like 13.
Groveton is a 2A this year. If I'm right, they're the biggest 2A in the state. Barely missing the cutoff. They have been in Deweyville's district the past four years if that tells you anything about how big they are. Have about 220 kids.

We do have some good years coming up, but our 8th graders going to 9th are going to be monsters. They are huge and fast! Havent lost a game since PeeWee football.
That's the way that this previous senior class was. We didn't lose a game in junior high, and our first loss came to EC towards the end of the year freshman year.

What receiver? What RB? You do understand that Splendora has a faster RB than anyone on SA's team? Do you think SA would have done better than 5-7 if they were 3A last year? I hope you are not trying to say that football games are not won up front? SA has more athletes than Alto, WS, Deweyville, Mart and Garrison. Why did they not win or in most cases even stay on the field? Did they have good WRs? Did they spread the field? I am an SA fan all the way. I hope they win. I have close relationships with most of the players and coaches. But I accept reality. If the baby is ugly, the baby is ugly. It is not shameful for a 2A to not be able to compete with a 4A.

If I'm right, we have alot of pitchers, but all are sophomores. They'll get better, but I don't think they will ever be a Howell.
-
LT's Baker Mayfield who could end up at OU this season played 7v7 all throughout high school.
-
Whats up with D-ville???
What do you mean? lol
-
Not many teams wanted to schedule SA. You are not sure what SA has coming up!
He knows very well what SA has comin up lol trust me.

Deweyville and Vidor scrimmaged on multiple occasions before Deweyville entered the Jasper state tourney
-
A name I would consider if I was Ozen is Chris Babin. He is young, smart and has been successful as an OC and AD with lesser Talent at Lumberton and Deweyville.

I do too. I would much rather yall than Warren. But yalls teams the next couple years will be phenomenal and I think that played a part in the scheduling.
-
New Waverly won't be a challenge.
-
I am in no way saying Newton's predistrict is "weak". That's a heck of a predistrict. But Newton has showed that they are too much for 3A-I so they play up a class, just like we are. This is an amazing schedule considering the level of competition Deweyville is in. So because I am used to Sabine Pass, Evadale, West Hardin, Hull-Daisetta, etc., the new schedule looks like an A+.
