Huffman is coming off bye week. They will be well prepared but not sure they needed two weeks for this game.

Scouting repot on Cleveland: 1. NOT disciplined at all. 2. Weak secondary IMO and very young on D 3. One dimensional on offense and do NOT open the playbook. 4. #7 is a load and I would feen him 35 freaking times in the playoffs. He is quick, strong and runs the football well. Offensive line does a fairly descent job and he hits the holes. 5. If taken lightly and given some confidence, they will beat you. Ask Liberty 6. Crowd fan base support! Horrible. They left at halftime and have heard them doing that in other games as well. Good luck to both teams but pulling for Cleveland with an upset of WOS. THey are in our district and I wish all 3 teams well!

I am thinking 35-7ish Huffman wins. We'll see as playoffs bring a whole new envionment of football. Cant freaking believe we have to wait til Saturday night though. Watching the game last night I was naturally thinking about our upcoming game with Silsbee. If Silsbee continues to play their corners that deep off the wideouts, thet are in for a long night. Not sure what kind of speed those corners have, maybe thats why they are that deep but HF should have stayed with quick curls and slants and it would have killed Silsbee. O line was huge and man do hey cut. They will be facing a quick, strong, nasty D line from Huffman. BTW they are returning a monster to the D line after injury in the 3rd game of the season. He should be fresh! ;D Silsbee has a couple of nice playmakers but they dont seem to feed them as much as I would. If you dont give the pill to the playmakers in the playoffs, it could possible be a quick exit. I am impressed with the sophomore at QB. He is a gr8 athlete but needs to work on arm strength. Huffman really wont respect the passing game, at least not this season, just cuz of the lack of a big arm. (give the #5 some time and reps he is going to be something fun to watch) He can run too! IMO Huffman comes out with a convincing victory against Silsbee. Huffman high powered offense and NASTY D will cause fits for Silsbee. It wont be a shootout like last year. Huffman is coming off a bye week and it was much needed. The boys have their legs up under them and Coach Mac, I am positive will have them ready for Saturday night. Good luck to both sides and all the teams making it to the playoffs. Huffman will bring it Saturday. Silsbee better strap up!

Cant go on much other than who we are and who we played. Cold Springs has to be one of the top if not the best defense. Huffman really is not far behind. Again, thats just cuz i have not seen much else play.

Gr8 athlete and I send prayers towards the young man and his family.

Should be a good one next Saturday night at Turner Stadium. This is a great facility! Not really sure about the Saturday night game but its all good. Silsbee had a slow start tonight. Really never got anything going until they went into Wildcat mode with #10 and HF had not answer. HF has some playmakers but not sure its going to be enough against Huffman. We have a full 7 days to discuss.

I don't agree with it either particularly. As I was a drumline captain we often stayed and played anyway to keep some momentum going. [/quote] I had to rewrite what i said earlier about hating the way Huffman fans cheer. It is just too dang quiet. BTW the band is freaking incredible. I love the music and love the march! Just cant stand the 3rd quarter not being in the stands playing. We come out flat most of the time in the 3rd. I dunno! I am not griping but just frustrated with how quiet WE as Huffman fans are!

I personally think 3-4 teams in the playoffs from the same district is gr8. Why not and what does it hurt? Lots of districts consistently have the teams at the top. It gives the lesser teams of the district an opportunity to participate in playoff atmosphere. I dunno kinda like more teams involved after regular season!

Totally had to rewrite what I wrote earlier. Why is it Huffman fans do NOT cheer the entire game? 3rd quarter its like church. Only times Huffman fans cheer is when we score. THATS IT! Huffman has only lost two games in two years at home, but does not make it home field advantage. They have only lost 2 games away as well during the regular season. So, players should not have to get fans involved. Most of us have been around football long enough to know fans help as such a boost to the players! LETS GO HUFFMAM FANS! Playoffs the boys weill need us. Sorry for the post earlier just didnt word it right!

KUDOS to a very good Cold Springs football team. You guys fly to the football on defense! Huffman had plenty of chances inside the red zone and CS D buckled down and made it very difficult. What a great game of defense. That Huffman D flies to the football as well. Good luck to CS and I hope you guys well! Also, good luck to my Huffman boys. You just went toe to toe with one of the best teams in the state!

Good luck to both squads. Both teams are deserving to be district champs and I hope we are in for a gr8 hard fought game. What is truly awesome is we have two gr8 teams representing our district in the playoffs. I dont know how far either will go, but memories are being made for these young men. They wont have to worry about taking a knee this game. They will be in a dog fight with Huffman! I know there are arguements for both sides for a victory. That Huffman offense is on all cylinders and the defense has been on point most of the season. I know CS is money on both sides of the ball and I cant wait to see how they react to a physical disciplined football team! This game will be more than worth the price of admission! CYA THERE!
