WOW! Huffman first half was impressive. They called the dawgs off in the second half. I really liked that Huffman did not try to embarrass Tarkington. To Tarkington, keep your heads up and keep working hard! High School football is more than wins and losses so ENJOY the memories! Good job Falcons and keep working hard!

To the orginal topic of Tarkington @ Huffman........ Going to be a HUGE homecoming crowd and Huffman is coming off two big time offensive performances. The NEW kids on the block are getting a feel for the offense and the defense has been money most of the season. So, I am giving my prediction because it is a football game and there will be a winner and a loser. Huffman 50+ Tarkington 7- IMO its going to be hard for Tarkington to score against Huffman. If they score, it will be like Liberty did once on a busted play. BTW he was down and the whistle should have been blown! LOL..... Good luck to  both teams and an injury free weekend of football.

Preston i doing fine. He is a gr8 fit in this offense and improving weekly. Will probably throw for the most yards in the district. Preston and Huffman will be challenged with the Cleveland and Cold Springs.

Good luck to both teams but going with Cleveland by 2 TD's. Cleveland will have too much offensively.

AND while its still fresh on my mind.......Liberty has owned Huffman the last 20 plus years. Huffman has won like 3 times in 20 plus years. So pardon the Huffman fan base as they celebrated back to back victories over Liberty. The kids are pumped, coaches are pumped and the entire Huffman community is pumped!

DO NOT put the entire Falcon fan base as arrogant. As far as Coldsprings and Silsbee beating the heck out of Huffman, wait until that time comes and start posting your idiotic posts! Must I remind you the game last year with Cold Springs was tight and should have been won by Huffman AND what was the score last year against Silsbee? The game has to be played to determine a winner. Never seen on of our posts dictate the outcome of a game. Give credit to the TEAM and if you dont like what people are posting, go to another website!

We just dont have the numbers. So, scores may be lopsided because 1st string has to play the entire game. You cant have them kneel on the ball because that would be more of an embarrassment. You cant go anything less that full speed because you risk injury. So its a catch22. Do you embarrass the team by laying down or do you embarrass the team by beating them 60-7 OR  do you risk injury because you told your players to take it easy. The other team is working their butts off and I bet they would rather see your best than for you to lay down! IMO!!!!!!!!111

I have one more thing to add to the Fitz/Townley comparison. Fitz played the entire game from his back and Townley sat and did nothing but throw TD's. You can have the absolute BEST player in the entire state, but if you don't have the supporting cast, you dont win ball games. Fitz had not faced that much tenacity and team defense this season. Dont know the kid and dont even know what position he as played up until today. But, my prayers go out to the young man and family. It is very difficult to have your child injured and feeling helpless because we as parents cant fix it! Prayers from Huffman for healing and a speedy recovery.
