[/quote] NOOOOO Sheperd did not take it to is MOST of the game. Sheperd scored once on offense and once a kickoff return in the first half. THATS IT! They had 166 yards total the entire game with negative yards in the 2nd half. So, your statement is false! They did indeed put a lot of pressure on the qb bringing more than we had to block. They made the adjustments and if you do your homework, didnt he still throw for 300 plus again? MOVING ON to Splendora!

They went in flat, no instensity, and to be honest thought they would come in half a#%ed and win the ballgame. Offense looked horrible with over thrown balls, missed catches, recvrs making zero effort to get the football. It was a very sluggish start. They scored 29 unanswered points in the second half with a negative yards for Sheperd. Start like that against Cold Springs and they beat our butts like they are doing everyone else.

[/quote] What i have to say for that is i attended every single game DeBerry played and i saw a lot of the TDs he got that put him to that 3500yds and 40TDs was after the first half when Huffman had already ran the score up to about 60-0 and they just kept on trucking. He was a great QB but like it was said he made a few bad decision and threw picks. Been to a few games this year new work schedule has me working every other weekend and roating from daylights to graveyards, but what i have seen is a much improved D and a QB thats new to the team thats putting up the numbers and making the plays. I dont like how every year it is an ignorant bunch of people trash talking Huffman, I dont care how big a team is, if they dont show up to the game with there heads on straight and focus and play the game they know to play they could lose, the way i see it is every year it is always people saying CS by a lot and it never really ends up like that, it is normally a pretty close game between the 2 schools. Laporte makes alot of mistakes offensively. Laporte D is as solid as they come. Channelview scores tons of points. They miss tackles due to being over aggressive making the BIG HIT! Both teams EXTREMELY physical. CVL 35 LP 17

Fellas.......don't give CS the district trophy just yet! The CS/Huffman game will be intense and close either way. It is NOT far fetched to say Huffman wins district against CS at home. Either way, both teams will represent well in the playoffs! BTW IMO Huffman will HANDLE Silsbee in the first round!  ;D

Townly 99-175 for1255 yards and 19 touchdowns.He is new to the system and has figured it out. Deberry made some bad decisions in games throwing picks instead of taking what the D gives him. Deberry was a good QB. He will throw for close to Deberry numbers and will not make the same type of msitakes. Early in the season, he did make the same mistakes! It will be an interesting and HIGHLY intense battle with CS. I would not miss out on that ticket.

How about giving Huffman the same respect. Aside the Kingwood Park game they have got pretty good numbers. If you have never seen Huffman play this season, really makes not sense to say CS will kill Huffman. You have no arguement to base that kind of a statement on.

If you dont, scores will be like most of the games this season...BLOWOUTS! Huffman will put up some points and it will be up to defense to step up and make plays. CS will bust it for big plays, Huffman just has to keep it to a minimum. I CANT WAIT! This should be a gr8 game.
