1. Good win. Still got work to do. Offense showed improvements tonight. Moved the football at will and but made some mistakes. Defense played well and laid the leather again. Good win and much needed confidence booster going into next week vs Liberty.
 2. You aint got NO repsect for Huffman. Goodness! At least you did see us scoring some points in a big way.  ;D There aint NO way HF puts up 35. NO WAY!
 3.
Liberty vs HUffman will Determine alot next week  even being the first week
Yes it will. It would be nice to see Huffman move the ball tonight against HF. COMEON DISTRICT. Looking forward to Liberty!
 4.

LMAO.......thats what its all about. Supporting your team regardless.......being a homer. NOW I do think Liberty has improved from last season, but like i said on a previous post, not sure it plays with Huffman. Huffman D will not give up a ton of points against Liberty. NEXT WEEK Liberty Homer, we have it out! LOL
lol i won't start that argument here for sake of this thread.. but just go take a look at the numbers. liberty by 28.. that is all.
Great point for the sake of the thread. Nice jab though Liberty by 28! Keep smoking that pipe! LOL

 6.
homer.. much  :o
That is correct.  :)
 7. Nobody talks about Huffman because they have not done anything in the first 3 games. Kinda scary isnt it? They are 2-1 and beat teams that they should have beaten and lost to a K Park team that will go deep AGAIN into the playoffs in 4A. Offensive struggles may or may not correct themselves. If, If, If, they get this thing figured out against HF and go into the Liberty game with confidence...WHO KNOWS! Defense is MONEY! So they did give up 35 against K Park and was on the field 90 plays! UNHEARD OF! Huffman needs some good drives on offense and keep that D fresh. So, keep Huffman quiet and all eyes on your LIberty, Cold Springs, and Cleveland.............. might just bite you in the butt!
 8. Thats a great idea. Letd drop it til next week. Liberty should just go ahead and look towards Cold Springs. I wouldnt even study film on Huffman. Huffman can play offense, defense gave up 35 to K Park, and kicking game needs work. SO, should be a blowout in Liberty's favor. All that said, I can promise you Huffman is working hard and Coach Mac is going to make things right. See ya in couple of weeks.
 9. He struggled ALL night long. He took some sacks that he should not have. He made bad decisions. Receivers dropped some balls. Defense must have played 85 plays. Long night for them Falcon boys. That being said, Preston is a good QB learning a new system. Confidence is little shot right now but he has all the tools. Great kid and knows he made mistakes and guarantee he works thru them. Still have another couple of practice weeks and a game on Friday night to get it together. We saw them Liberty boys up in the stands and I bet they were licking their chops. See you guys in a couple of weeks!
 10. WOW! Absolutely horrible offensively. Cant tell you how many 3 and outs Huffman had. Dropped balls and bad decisions killed Huffman. Was not pretty. Defense was whooped. I did NOT expect K Park to shut Huffman out. Hats off to K Park and move on to next week against H.F. Good Luck to K parks season.
 11. ITs at 600 not 700! My prediction is Huffman 28 Kingwood 14 Huffman to have a breakout game offensively!
 12. Liberty put it on Porter this evening on both sides of the ball. Porter had like 4 plays they tried to run. Tackling was not good. Porter was not coached well at all! Liberty looked good! I do have a question......what is the purpose of having Liberty take off his 76 jersey during the 3rd quarter and put on 82? IS THAT LEGAL?
 13.
just like last year huh... what was dat score again?
Really could  give a rats poop what the score was last year. That was my prediction and I dont recall yours???????
 14. Huffman 28 Kingwood Park 14 Thats my final and I am sticking it to it..........AS LONG AS Huffman does not have a ton of dropped balls and the offense gets into gear. IF Huffman drops half dozen balls or more then its an butt whooping!

Has Any Other QB in This District Worth Arguing For Played A "Playoff Team"... Townly is The Only Other QB Mentioned & He Has Played Against The Same Level Of Competition If Not Worse As Fitz(With HJ & Kashmere)! Mention a Name & Somebody Might Listen, Otherwise Stop Knocking The Kid For Playing A Good First Two Games!
No one is knocking the kid. Were just saying its a little to early to be crowning him king of the world. Remember everybody has only played TWO games. No one knows what could happen in the next 8. And last time I checked a QB's job wasn't to just pass it was to get his team wins. In that case then Scott from coldspring is the best, and will be till someone beats him.
I mentioned this earlier, maybe on another topic, but Kashmere had a QB that was awesome. He threw a nice pill, killed us out of the pocket on srambles, avioded sacks, and THEY LOSS. The QB is one man of 11. This is a good discussion and actually exciting as we all make an arguement over our team being the best. The kid from Huffman is a good QB but will be only as good as the O-line and the receivers. He can throw the rock with anyone. I guess my point is, this is 11 man football not 1 man football. BTW is the kid the same kid from last year that threw like 16 picks? Just asking. If so, he has made some nice adjustments and we look forward to playing you guys on opening day of district.
I think we will see who the best qb is when those two match up in the district opener...
I think we will see the better team come district opener.

Just my opinion.
Debery was faster and a better runner than Townley I doubt Townley puts up the number deberry did or even close
He was indeed faster and a better runner, BUT, this is the QB position and Townly throws the ball extremely well. He is just a junior and has another year to get those numbers. That being said, if the receivers improve, he will hit good numbers
 18.
Liberty is looking like a favorite for District Champs.
WOW! Just like that district champs? See you guys in the first game of district!
 19.
I'm with you on the Qb situation and the Gray kid bc he is fun to watch. Not so sure on the defense but hope I'm wrong. Their pass defense was horrible last week and if Kashmere catches the ball they get blown out. They didn't and they are two and o so lets see what happens.
THat kid from Kashmere would NOT go down. OMG he would sit in the pocket with a couple of Huffman folk on his butt and scramble out of it. He really was fun to watch. D-line had great penetration the entire game. IMO this defense, already solid, is only going to get better. They only had 4-5 returners on D and some really nice transfers. Couple of them playing in positions they did not play at the previous schools. Give them some time to learn the spots and I see the pass D getting improving. BTW Kashmere dropped like 10-12 balls. Looked like Huffman two weeks in a row. My dad and I chuckled about how sloppy both sides looked! GO FALCONS!
IMO, about the same, maybe a little better.
ok, i'm just trying to see why ppl are saying huffman will win. because i know huffmans not as good as they were last yr. an k park smashed them so i'm just wondering where this is coming from?
I'm pretty sure KP wins this one easily.
EASILY?????? WOW! Not sure if you know this or not but Huffman has given up like 168 yards and 200 yards in each game. Think it might be difficult for K Park to put it in the end zone.
33 did you see the Kpark Huffman game last year? I hope you are right about the defense but big difference between Kpark Kashmere and Hardin Jefferson. BIG DIFFERENCE.
I did and it was ugly in Huffman! Huffman is NOT the same team on either side of the ball. Townly is a better QB than they had last year and with time, HOPEFULLY this season, will get into sync with the wide outs. If that happens, it will be a great season. The Gray kid is money at the RB spot. Offensive line has already had good improvements this year. Defense 4SURE is better than last years Huffman team. More athletes, more speed, the desire to hit you in the mouth. K Park is not the same team as last year on the offensive side of the ball. Very predictable! Huge line but very basic offense. Play action is nice! WILL NOT BE A BLOW OUT and a very possible upset for Huffman. Later
 21. Kashmere was very athletic with an athletic versatile QB running the O. They were fast but not disciplined. Huffman did NOT play well and should have gotten beat. Butt..................came away with a win. Look for Huffman to breakout on offense, hopefully this week. That sysyem is set up for success. Just need to catch the danged ball....LOL Good luck to everyone this weekend and hope there are great games all the way around.

 23.
reading this post you would have thought that Liberty had beaten Pearland and La marque, but in reallity you've beaten two schools of the blind and your next opponent cant even spell football yet, Fitz is a desent enough QB, but he's not the dragon slayer ya'll make him out to be, he's playing in an ultra soft regular season schedule, with a half azz easy district, lets wait until after they make their playoff run and see what his stats are then, I'm not knocking the kid, but Liberty started the season the same way last year and we all seen what happened when ya'll played quality teams, you got flushed down the drain, dont get me wrong,I hope ya'll are still undefeated when ya'll roll into Coldspring this year because it's gonna be a reallity check for you!
THey ain gonna have to wait that long to get that 1 in the loss column. First week of district will be an eye opener.  Put that in your locker room!
 24. Fellas after watching Huffman in two games, you and I could put up 28 points, if you can catch. The system is going to get you open! Against HJ they could have put of 70 but 14-15 dropped balls hurt that and against Kashmere it was the same thing. I have watched K Park on video and they are very predictable. Defensiviely they are small and do not play good team defense. So, if Huffman catches the football and takes what K Park gives em = win, if not it could be a long night for the falcons. IMO............................... Huffman 28 K. Park 10
