They all don’t have to be suspended at one time. They easily could stagger the suspensions amongst all the coaches. For an example OC week 1 DC week 2 ST Week 3 all the way to position coaches on how many coaches they have overlap and be down 2 coaches 1 week. Plus mandatory UIL rules training and being placed on a 2 year suspension or something. Thats method won’t kill the program or anther teams program at all.

Rules were broken yes. Punishment is warranted yes. I personally believe they should have been a harsher punishment. The head coach didn’t act alone and fit all the kids for shoulder pads and helmets. He didn’t run the practice by himself. All the coaches should have some type of punishment.

They aren’t. To be honest I may be a little upset if they did… if Astros get into post season play we will scrape by and get bounced out round 1. With the Dodgers making another move with Skuball everyone is playing for runner up. Dodgers killed baseball, and I am so ready for a salary cap.

So true.. it’s crazy the difference between DFW and Greater Houston area on facilities… much less the Golden Triangle. Seems tho Houston area is finally catching on what DFW has had for almost 20 years it seems.

I’m curious to see if local teams move practice times up a lot more earlier due to the new UIL rules (WBGT) and or later evening practices.. I do think this could be the start of a lot of schools starting to get indoor/covered practice facilities in the coming years.. or at least try on bonds…

UIL basketball should be in Houston. DFW has Football, Austin/RR CenTex has baseball/ Softball Houston should get Basketball.

It was a lot, they keep teams in the game lot longer than they should because of these penalties…

Huntsville problem may not be the reload part.. they always got the athletes. It’s the bonehead penalties. That was a very sloppy team last year when it came to that and shot themselves in the foot a lot.
