I thought the spring game went well! Exciting times for sure. Dogs looking better coached than in the past, tackling looked 10x better.. offense new system, a little growing pains, but with a brand system I thought they did well. The o line looked bigger yesterday than it did in the fall… one thing I was truly glad to see black and gold teams had 2 big rosters so safe to say the football kids are staying in the program and turn out quality work…. Now for the kids to buy into the summer strength and conditioning program the coaches have in store for the athletes.

Amen to that…. With this weather we been having last several weeks. No telling what’s in store..

Maybe the field will be ready for LP to play bidistrict game at home 😉

2001 to get over the quarterfinal hump to make the semis… Nederland played them again in a home and home series 05/06 I believe it was, the game at Friendswood all night long they kept saying the Nederland Bullfrogs even had it on the scoreboard and program… lol nederland split that series where the home team won, even though Nederland should have won the game at Friendswood questionable ref calls, FWood hit a game winner FG as time expired… baseball team beat them a few times over the years that I can remember.. volleyball and softball has beat them a few times as well..

I was told Dave Campbell recognized Coach Rich as one of the best 1st year coaches hired by the Bulldogs….

The year after he left DC spell had them boys physical… beat Roschon Johnson and the Indians at home. They were roughing him up all night long.
