That was also the first time NRG ever hosted it. I’m sure they learned from their mistakes and will do better next time with all the critics. Can’t just go based on something that happened one time without giving them another shot... That’s how places get better with suggestions and learned from past mistakes.

Houston area schools always have to travel... give them a bone and let them get a major game in their back yard.

I’m sure Carthage will continue the winning ways not to worried about them at all. SC has the athletes if they D2 in the playoffs they should be able to make deep runs. I think they could have beat either team from 6A D2 championship... even before the QB went down....

Exactly, but safe to say those are great teams that we went toe to toe with. Just gotta learn how to close out games and we can compete with the best of them. Those games will help us out come district and playoff time.
