Saying that they should let him go and what was he thinking and a lot of other things. Now look at him. Just took his team from 2-8 to 10-3 and won 4A coach of the year in DC magazine. ....just sayin'
Thanks for that comment '2cents...some people don't get it.  I'll bet Jeff will tell you a lot of his success depends not only on his offensive AND defensive strategy, but also the strengths of his players...the kids that have to go out each Friday night and turn you into a hero or a zero.
Don't know the all time record H-D, but as far as district, Lumberton one in a 3 way tie with PNG and Dayton.
And wasn't that the year that Lumberton beat LaMarque in the playoffs - a feat that very few schools in this area have achieved?
You should have seen the faces on the LaMarque coach's and player's faces...definitely not expected. It was priceless!

Anyone with any kind of sense should know that and not make comparisons otherwise. Yes it is a fact that the total MLB attendance is larger than NFL attendance but any nimrod should know that by the larger amount of games played. It's not a fair comparison which are what some are arguing about.
Amen...and thank you.  That's what I've been trying to convey to Baseballfanatic...I mean Falconfanatic. Nuff said.  8)
Exactly people are willing to pay and go see a baseball game, but not for football. They just sit on the couch  an watch thier team's 1 game per week ;D 8). Oh and if you add up the number of people that watch the 2,580 different baseball games and compare that to the number of people that watch the 256 football games I bet you baseball has more viewers. Also if the World Series  averaged 20 million viewers per game that would make 140 million for the whole event. Which is about 30 million more than the Super Bowl.
You must be a liberal, using numbers to suit your arguement...Do you honestly think that each of the 7 games of the World Series were watched by completely different viewers? That's the only way you would get to your misleading 140 million viewers statistic.  More likely, you probably had 20 to 30 million of the same viewers watching the "Series".  Work the numbers all you want, Football is "King" in Southeast Texas!
Does it matter if it was different people? No matter how you look at it there were more sets of eyes watching the WS than watching the SB. BTW the way I nevet claimed the Baseball was more popular than football. I just said that baseball had a higher total attendance and a higher total viewership.
Simply because there are more games played...Turn the Superbowl into a 7 game series and answer the viewership question again.  Once again, very misleading.  FF, you're comparing apples to oranges... The truth of the matter is that football has both a higher total "per event" attendance AND viewership...and yes, you are right FF, football is more popular too!

[Hidden Content] Super bowl last year - 111.3 million viewers [Hidden Content] Game 7 of the World series last year - 25.4 million viewers. Nuff said.
