Congrats on the win bears! How have yall been as far as turnovers? Your offense looks fairly balanced.

Cant wait till friday night, we will put and end to this charade.

Austin Simmons is a beast.
What position does he play?
Everything. According to Mr. Burgundy he will murder the entire opposing team. He is known for his extravagant descriptions ;D ;D ;D

This could be a better game than most of us think. Ill be there with the Tribe, and i hope for no injuries and a clean game.
-
I thought he was moderating on another board. Thats the last i heard.

Yup crosby smoked em. According to stats, only a few passes were thrown and a lot of running. Good job to the Cougars for smashing king, and good luck to the Eagles.

Envy is the name of the game here for some of these. They have been nothing but wrong so far, as we are heading into district 3-0. Enjoy being wrong for the rest of the year.

PN-G will be winning some games in district, but there will be no shutouts...
Even predicting scores? Wow, I don't agree with a few others, but I really don't believe you guys are going to shut out Central!Port Neches-Groves Indians
Sept. 25 Little Cypress-Mauriceville*, 7;30 p.m. W 35-0
Oct. 2 Nederland*, 7:30 p.m. W 48-21
Oct. 9 @ Livingston*, 7:30 p.m. W 51-28

Oct. 30 Beaumont Ozen*, 7:30 p.m. W 48-0
Nov. 6 @ Beaumont Central*, 7:30 p.m. W 35-0
Time will tell. I know you loved the 2003 central defense, how does this one compare?

Yeah you say that about crosby, but the fact is we made them look bad and ennis did far worse. We also put in backups near the beginning of the third quarter after we had 37. This coach isnt one to run the score up,and that was easy to see. Third or fourth is pretty funny though, thanks for that one. Didnt know anyone would be getting ruffled over my numbers. Well the game up in lumberton may just decide it all between the tribe and the raiders! It will be an interesting year, and most of the district is much better. We cant go wrong there.

Id have to say the coaching at WO-S has been the best. They produce great defense, great athletes, obviously help out with athletic scholarships, and they just win, baby. Most importantly however is the longevity(they have been doing this for 30 years). I cannot stress this point enough. I love my Tribe, and my coaching staff looks incredible right now. But im looking at my lifetime as a whole, and its got to be hooks and his posse.
-
Yeah TC was pretty athletic, their QB and safety apfel stood out.Branch looked lost, and our #7 was the better man by far out of the HBs. Im realizing also just how athletic we really are. At all the skill positions and in the secondary especially. TC and la marque would roll ball high right into the ship channel. I look for Vidor @ Central to be a good one, just like the lumberton/silsbee game. Im glad i stayed home in Port Neches, but i really wished that game had been on a saturday

Incredible job this week! Always love the previews and predictions, and i look forward to your good work every week.
-
Nice uniforms. Hope WH wins some good games soon.

Unless you saw the game youd think that these two teams were evenly matched. However thats way off. They were getting physically beaten up and started acting like thugs, late hits and lips that wouldnt stop moving. Glad our guys kept their composure and didnt stoop to that level. Their tying TD was a major push off, and one of our last drives had a bad interference call that was missed. #12 was offsides on those blocks, but somehow we managed to show how much better we are, beating TC along with all the other things. When youre fighting a zebra and a stingray its hard to get both at once ;D ;D ;D

Barbers Hill takes it with pride and conviction!
-
Which house and which 2? ???Congrats to the short list of SETX teams that remain unbeaten
Lumberton, PNG, Vidor, WOS, Newton, High Island and Evadale.
It is a difficult thing to go an entire season undefeated, but it goes without saying that you have to win from the beginning to have even a chance.
Don't know it any of these teams will still be on the list by the end of the season, but congrats again being on the list three weeks into the season!
I bet the house that two of these drop out. ;D
Not until they play each other.
-
Incredible comeback. Just as incredible as the way our Tribe held on and took it to Texas City, winning with pride. See you in three weeks!
-
He is always FRIGHTENINGLY accurate.

ROFLCOPTER!!!

Thanks for those, it will be interesting to see how they change in the weeks ahead.
Ozen vs. Nederland predictions?

That last score sounds about right. I do not see ozen doing too much against Nederland, especially if QB Smith is back.
