Even predicting scores? Wow, I don't agree with a few others, but I really don't believe you guys are going to shut out Central!:o

PN-G will be winning some games in district, but there will be no shutouts...

Time will tell. I know you loved the 2003 central defense, how does this one compare?

  3. Yeah you say that about crosby, but the fact is we made them look bad and ennis did far worse. We also put in backups near the beginning of the third quarter after we had 37. This coach isnt one to run the score up,and that was easy to see. Third or fourth is pretty funny though, thanks for that one. Didnt know anyone would be getting ruffled over my numbers. Well the game up in lumberton may just decide it all between the tribe and the raiders! It will be an interesting year, and most of the district is much better. We cant go wrong there.

  6. Id have to say the coaching at WO-S has been the best. They produce great defense, great athletes, obviously help out with athletic scholarships, and they just win, baby. Most importantly however is the longevity(they have been doing this for 30 years). I cannot stress this point enough. I love my Tribe, and my coaching staff looks incredible right now. But im looking at my lifetime as a whole, and its got to be hooks and his posse.

  7. Yeah TC was pretty athletic, their QB and safety apfel stood out.Branch looked lost, and our #7 was the better man by far out of the HBs. Im realizing also just how athletic we really are. At all the skill positions and in the secondary especially. TC and la marque would roll ball high right into the ship channel. I look for Vidor @ Central to be a good one, just like the lumberton/silsbee game. Im glad i stayed home in Port Neches, but i really wished that game had been on a saturday  :D

  8. Unless you saw the game youd think that these two teams were evenly matched. However thats way off. They were getting physically beaten up and started acting like thugs, late hits and lips that wouldnt stop moving. Glad our guys kept their composure and didnt stoop to that level. Their tying TD was a major push off, and one of our last drives had a bad interference call that was missed. #12 was offsides on those blocks, but somehow we managed to show how much better we are, beating TC along with all the other things. When youre fighting a zebra and a stingray its hard to get both at once  ;D ;D ;D

  9. Congrats to the short list of SETX teams that remain unbeaten

Lumberton, PNG, Vidor, WOS, Newton, High Island and Evadale.

It is a difficult thing to go an entire season undefeated, but it goes without saying that you have to win from the beginning to have even a chance.

Don't know it any of these teams will still be on the list by the end of the season, but congrats again being on the list three weeks into the season!

Which house and which 2? ???

I bet the house that two of these drop out.  ;D

Not until they play each other.
