What are the rules for summer camp or practice?  Can a football coach hold any kind of organized anything for the team or is that a UIL no no.  Just wondering................seems like if they could work with kids at least a little it would help.  And can someone please explain the 7 on 7 thing and how does a school have a team if they choose to?  And can a school have more than one?

Yeah, it really stinks!  Can't get any work done for wondering how it's going or how my son is doing, lol!  Should've just taken vacation and gone since I am not getting much done here.  Hopefully someone will see this and update what's happening over there!

Bridge City Sophmore team is playing a tournament in Hardin Jefferson starting today and anyone around that may know the scores, please post!  I am at work and couldn't make the game at 9a.m.   Thanks!

Thanks all for the prayers.  And it sure does put things in perspective!  This one hits very close to home.  Good article on Lisa on therecordlive.com front page. 

This is not boys basketball, but just wanted to ask everyone to send prayers for the family of Lisa Cormier, a Bridge City freshmen.  Lisa passed away this past weekend from complications from the flu.  She was a beautiful girl, involved in athletics and will be missed tremendously by the students of BC.  So, please say a prayer to help deal with this loss.

Go get 'em, Oilers!  I'm rooting for you from Bridge City!  Went to school at WH for a couple of months when I was home from overseas so you guys have a special place in my heart!  Good luck!

Congrats to Coach Stump and welcome to Cardinal Country!  My two boys are excited and look forward to being under your direction!  Lets all make him welcome and supported in BC!

You know, HJ has a very good basketball team, but there are several posters on here that even makes that look shabby.  That's really a shame, but from a previous post, it's all about having a little class.  Boys you should get back to the books and quit making your whole school look bad with the posts you put on this website.  I doubt alot of the HJ people would like what you do.

Why don't you jump back on the basketball thread, this is baseball, or is that all you can come up with to throw at us?  What a joke!  You need to grow up.
