Your spinning your wheels cards_mom. The classroom is an foregone conclusion for some of these kids. I have to read some post over and over just to understand what they are saying.

I guess you're right because there seems to be no end to those kind of posts!  And I do the same as far as trying to understand what the heck they are saying. I bet the teachers that put in hours each day at these schools cringe if they read some of this!

everyone opinion is most likely the same beside the people that goes to o-field, BC, fannet because they don't have a powerhouse team that will be good so they just want to put their name on the post that all. Like we all been saying HJ vs. Silsbee war for first. WOS and Jasper battle it out for that #3 spot so be real and quit trying to make your school look good, because it not all they doing is trashing talking those school.

I believe more time needs to be spent in English class and less on the bb court!

He's a kid....kids make mistakes....get over it. As for him playing next year i was told it's very possible. A "rebuilding year" is probally the right call with WOS, Kirbyville, and Silsbee being like they always are good.

I predict a 4-6 year.

And there has to be consequences for mistakes, and I think he may be considered very close to being an adult at his age.  Sorry, but he took the chance, now needs to pay the price for his actions.

Tigerpride, hard work almost always pays off!  Good luck and safe travels to the game to all of your team and fans!  And from a Mom's perspective....................keep up the hard work and great attitude and it'll take you far!  And here's hoping for good umpires for the games ;D

Tigerpride, let me say what a class act I think you are!  As said in a prior post, you represent your school and team very well.  How nice to hear a young person get on this board and just talk honestly about the game that we all love!  I am a Card fan, but want to wish you and your team the best of luck, and may the best team win!  And here's hoping for a good competitive next three games with both teams showing good sportsmanship and pride in the schools each will represent. 

I agree...............they are losing out by not hiring Bolton.  I like his style of coaching, and feel that he teaches with a style that kids can carry with them for the rest of their lives.  That's the type of coach more schools need.

All I can say is Thank God!  How many kids have fallen over dead from side effects of steroid use!  And I feel if an athlete has to do something like use this junk, then first and foremost, that athlete is a loser to begin with and doesn't want to put the long hours of hard work into getting built or bulked up.  How lazy and a cheat is that?  Get off your butt, work hard, if that does not work, work harder, but don't do it falsely.  And the one's that can't follow the rules, then in my opinion, there is no place in high school athletics for you.  But that is just my humble opinion!  I wish this test was required for anyone to even participate in athletics..................

Morgan Walker is good.  Tough, but my son went for several years and really liked him and did very well with his type of teaching.

TXBaseball, do you know a contact for that league?  Story going around BC is that they aren't going to have a team this year.  That would be great if they are, and do you know anything about when they have registration?  Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Can you please tell me if there are any organizations that allow BC boys to play (15 yr old) due to the fact that there are no Colt teams in BC anymore?  Didn't really want to have to do the traveling select thing again, but seems like there aren't many choices for these boys this age unless you know of some.

Way to go, Clay!  My son had an opportunity to meet Clay while playing a few tournaments with his dad's 16u team and was to say the least, very excited to "hang out" with Clay and to get pointers about the game and his catching ability!  Luke and family are proud to say we know you!  Keep it up, you are an inspiration to the young boys who dream to get where you are!

Oh, another question.....................do you guys think a kid benefits from going to a college camp?
