Look, I can't say I haven't had issues with the Enterprise.  You don't have to dig to far into the archives to discover what those were. But I could never say that one of them is that their skewing their coverage toward the local high schools is one of them.  The existence of this very message board is evidence of this area's pretty keen interest in high school sports.  That they devote one member full time to Lamar sports is pretty admirable. Ewert, I do wish some of the sports that do not get as much attention would be covered.  But remember we are talking about a sports news staff of 3 which kind of limits them and remember they gotta cover what sells the papers or gets views online.

Those pictures were from the Spring game last year.  I think it was after that that Jimmy transferred to Legacy.

They'll do fine.  By taking care of it ahead of time, they players (and Coach Jones for that matter) will have a chance to adapt to the game and will definitely not have to worry from week to week whether they will have enough to play a game.

Hopefully, they can get this worked out for the realignment in 2014.

Yeah, between the 2 hours from the time that the message was sent and the time I received it, Coach Slack has been able to round out a schedule.

Here's my gripe with the Livingston situation.  First, I was one of those that didn't think that Livingston was going to be moved out of 20-4A.  HOWEVER, that is because I thought the UIL would keep both 18-4A and 19-4A stable.  But you think that if they were going to tinker with those districts as well, that they could have found a way to get Livingston in either 18 or 19-4A.  Just shaken my head on that one!

One of our districts that was thrown a curveball was District 11-1A-I having only 4 teams in it. As a result, Coach Slack at Hull-Daisetta notified me that he is looking for Games in Week 5 and 6 to round out his non-distict schedule. If your school or you know another school that are looking for games in the same weeks.  Contact Coach Slack at 936-536-6321 Ext. 121!
