  7. Well, I will just put myself in the shoes of a HD ISD board member to illustrate what I am talking about. If I am pointed to an online petition which is started by a "Bob Bobcat" and includes signatures by a "Buford Justice" as well as signatures from folks in Liberty (which I don't believe is in the HDISD boundaries), as well as Bridge City and Orange (which I KNOW are not within the HDISD boundaries), I don't even bother to ask that the matter for which the petition is started, regardless of the matter, be set on the meeting agenda. Again, no problem with the folks expressing their views, but for it to be done in this matter makes it appear that those that are seeking change really don't take it seriously, so why should the school board?
  8. That is what I mean, to the HD ISD board, this "petition" will probably not be seriously considered. I have no problem with them wanting a change, but at least have the gumption to face the folks that you are asking to make a change.
  9. Have the folks who started or signed this petition addressed the H-D ISD Board of Trustees in one of their meetings? This is where they need to redress their grievances with Coach Hodges, not by signing some online petition. I am anxious to see if this has taken place.
  10. I too, would like to see a resolution to this matter. However, this is not the place for that resolution to take place. As with all message boards that I have, we have here a staff only forum that all involved in this dispute have access to in order to handle issues such as these. Jordan Wilson placed that forum there for exactly that reason and he would be quite displeased at the attempt to resolve this matter in the public forums of this site. I think a resolution to this matter can be made, but it isn't going to happen here. For that reason, I think it may be time to close this thread. Given the posts that have been previously made, I think it will be obvious to us all if a resolution to the matter has been made.
  11. Just a quick seems to make it look that if Coldspring in not in 12-3A-I, that the best fit for them otherwise would be in projected 10-3A-I. I haven't crunched the numbers, so they may not be any better off in 10, but it just appears that way.
  12. Interesting projected placement for Coldspring.

  15. First and foremost, congrats to Willie, it is a good to see a local guy do well. However, I have to apologize to Willie for having his good news post shared by someone's use of the whiner card. Good luck, Willie!
