The West Orange-Stark Mustangs continue their Class 4A playoff journey tonight as they take on the Giddings Buffaloes in Game 1 of this area round series! The Mustangs advanced to this round with a 14-2 win in a 1 game bi-district series with Splendora. Meanwhile, the Buffaloes swept Houston Furr in a bi-district best of 3 series, 15-1 and 16-0. The winner of this series will face the the winner of the Bellville/Bridge City series. Today is do or die for the Silsbee Tigers as they take on the Navasota Rattlers in the third and deciding game of this Class 4A area round series! The Rattlers took a 1-0 series lead with a 1-0 win on Thursday, but the Tigers tied the series 1-1 last night with a 5-3 win of their own. The winner of this game will face the winner of the Little Cypress-Mauriceville/Caldwell series. LC-M took a 1-0 last night in that series with a 9-4 win last night.
