Never, and I mean NEVER underestimate Larry Neumans will to win....... It wasnt long ago that some were talking about Neds "ISSUES" and how much "there program would suffer in the long run". No claims of state championships here but, Old Larry may be turning this thing around.

Seems like the 2000 D held Bay City (State Champs) to a little over a 100 yards in the quarterfinals. We had Sanchez -McNeese, Mayhew-Rice, Yoder -Tulsa, Pillitere-Mcneese and Bijeaux and Weatherly at the tackles. I know Im leaving some out but, other than DJ who is the last D player to get a scholarship?

No moral victories here, hats off to the Hill on your win. With that being said, I liked what I saw in the 2nd half from the Dogs. Nederland showed some offensive balance that we havent seen to this point, and Mr Raines showed me alot last nite....stepping up in the pocket... setting up and throwing off his front foot...too much to list. The defense with the exception of Kemp are all under classmen, and played well. Bottom line, Ned is Young...Green... and growing. We made some rookie mistakes, but I also saw potential and tons of heart.

Sonnier out with concussion, Kemp didnt play groin or hammy not sure. Exavier Bill out Stampley out, and also Butler. And everyone knows the qb situation. We made strides 2nite, still a long way to go but run game was on, and Raines looked a little more comfortable. We are YOUNG , and hopefully will take this win and build on it.

Doty is deserving, good job. Anyone know if Doty is being recruited?
