Both teams could score 50 this week.
No way Vidor scores 50 . The last couple of times we played them they got the W. This is BC's year for payback and Vidor will be lucky to score.
Mark it down Vidor will not score. I just hope that coach doesnt let up after we get up by 3 TDs. We are expected to pulvarize them and we need to run up the score to keep our momentum for the next game.

I agree Brenham fan. I don't know who this is but that kind of talk sounds immature and gives the rest of our fans a bad name. The game should be good and probably very close. Vidor has surprised me with how well they did with Texas high. BC's offensive line is very strong. As well as their defensive line. They too are big and strong. I look for a good game.
  3. Final BC 50 Shepherd 0. Shepherd received 2nd half kick off and fumbled. BC recovered. First play BC scored (Menard) to make the score 48 to 0. Shepherd later attempted a fourth down punt. Ball went over the head of the punter and BC scored a safety on the play. Actually it looked like BC should have been awarded the ball on Shepherd's 1/2 yard line. The refs did the best thing considering the one sidenest of the game. In my opinion BC looked good but still need to improve on carrying the ball. It could have been knocked free on most plays if Shepherd had went for the ball. And the center needs a lot of work. There were several bad snaps. It looked like the two teams ran pretty much the same plays but BC's linemen were a lot stronger that Shepherd's. They pretty much manhandled them all night. The reserves played all but one play of the second half.

"He pushed me hard," Bertrand said. "He set the standard for PN-G running backs. I'm determined to keep that in my mind and to live up to that. That is a goal of mine. I want to do what he did."

I thought PNG did a good job with conveying the tradition & history of the program.  Harmon was a good back not doubt and I hope he does great a LU, but claiming he is the standard bearer with the Jeff "the Jet" Bergeron having been a HS All American is hard for me to see.
Jeff the Jet graduated a long time ago. Bertrand wasn't even born yet. It would take a historian to know all the good running backs in PNG's history.

There are several things here that I think LCM should be more concerned about that beating the Disirct Champs  1. You got several game before we come the bear country. 2. Maybe you can contend with a playoff team when you make the playoffs. LCM Bears do not let your guard down cause when the indians come to your house there will be no mercy and you will get to hear cherokee over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over ;D

The game is at the Res this year buddy.
Every two years when the realignment takes place the game site is redone. The game can be scheduled at the same stadium two years in a row. Next year the game will be at LCM. Then reallighment again and the scheduling starts all over again. It could very well start the cycle at LCM after the next realignment.

This could make for an exciting season at BC
BC actually had an exciting season last year. The best one yet under the new coach and offense. They played Silsbee close and well against WOS. They eeked by a good Orangefield team and beat a pretty good HJ team. I look for them to make the play offs again this year and maybe even push for second place. Only time will tell.

Doesn't the largest team that makes the play offs go DI? No matter if they came in first or fourth. If that is true then if Central, or Nederland, or Vidor get in the play offs then one of them would go DI and PNG would go DII assuming they get in the play offs also.
True, but remember, there is 2 d1 spots and 2 d2 spots.
I thought that there were 2 teams in each division but wasn't sure. Thanks.
  9. I vote for testing. Even if not many kids are guilty of using. All the local industries test their employees and it has kept a lot of people drug free. So maybe many of the kids are steriod free because of the fear of being caught. A kid can be influenced easily into using steriods if he thinks he has a chance to get a big scholorship. But the chance of being caught because of testing and loosing any chance of a scholorship could keep him/her off of steriods.
