  4. [Hidden Content] 4A Division II: Silsbee One of 2021โ€™s most confounding teams. The highs were very high, like beating eventual regional finalist Pleasant Grove and upsetting white-hot Hamshire-Fannett in district play; but the lows were pretty low, like a disappointing season-opening defeat at the hands of Vidor and a stunning loss to Orangefield in the district opener. Can coach Randy Smith steady the ship and get the Tigers playing more consistent? History suggests so โ€” remember: this is a program just four years removed from a state semifinal run โ€” and so does the roster โ€” receiver Dreโ€™lon Miller is among the most dynamic players in all of Class 4A.

  7. Valid points & good info. I figured with the last hires Sterling & Lee finally found good coaches to keep them in the playoff hunt more consistently. If these coaching staffs are that inept & in over their heads then I agree any talent that comes thru those schools will get wasted with no playoff runs.

  10. Imagine a school board arguing with a coach who recently won a state championship over the coaches he can bring with him to a school that was not a very good football program the 25 years prior. Typical tho, most school boards have one or two good common sense people, the rest are usually power grabbing arrogant idiots.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  11. After reading the district teams previews what teams besides Crosby & P.A. are that much better then Sterling or Lee that they can't be in the playoff mix this year?
