Update: Officials still meeting. PAM doesn't want to give up a home game. Doing everything they can to play here.
tell Kenny to call PNGISD and make it happen. Im sure they'd let them play on Sat if needed.

Lets go guys, I wanna see everyone that doubted me on here. Lets see what you have to say
did you attend the game? If so then you saw PNG have 8 penalties for 70 yds which helped keep it close. You also saw the Indians not attempt a pass for most of the 4th qtr. If they'd put the pedal to the metal that score could have easily been 30 or 37-7.
but go ahead and keep pumping yourself up with a moral victory.

I'm looking for the topics that had all the old football records for the different schools & the one that showed the maps of all the districts. Anyone know where they are?
what teams history are you looking for?
-
lol....I must have missed that one.

Ok, first the OP has to be a troll. If not, he represents the most ignorant, distant Nederland fan.
If you are a PNG fan, or any fan for that matter, why even respond to something like this? Don't feed the troll. He's gotten some of you so fired up that any kind of logical conversation about the game Friday has been thrown out the window.
Learn some internet savvy, please.
Secondly, as we have seen through the years, previous records matter not during Mid-County Madness. Anything can happen when 16-18 year old kids line up on a Friday night. It's hard to predict the outcome of any teenagers actions, much less those during a sporting event.
With all that being said, the Indians have to be the favorite, 'weak' schedule or not. Nederland has suffered through an unheard of amount of injuries this season. They have to be efficient, yet still creative, in their gameplan this week to move the ball against a tough PNG defense.
Good luck to both sides. Play hard and enjoy the experience. It's one of the greatest rivalries in this state.
Very refreshing post, some folks on here are unbearable.
-
Enjoy this Friday it maybe 10 years before you get another MCM victory.
Ill have some of whatever he's having please.
-
No offense..BUT if you aren't from Mid county, mid county madness don't really matter to any one else..
I understand it's a great rivalry and all that ,but outside of PNG/Nederland it's just another game.
no offense taken.
but Dave Campbells magazine among others would disagree:
-
Lumberton and Vidor both have better teams this year than Ned. and PNG. i think the best teams should "BASK IN THE GLORY"
I agree but not this week.
and as for your first sentence, we'll get to find out about that statement soon enough.
-
to have that as this weeks game of the week when Nederland travels to Port Neches the same night is a tough call. IMO anytime one of the top 5 rivalry games in the state is on the schedule it is the game of the week no matter what the teams records are.
thats all.

I wonder what the odds are of PAM ever dropping back down to 4A?
that would solve the problem of having Dayton, Livingston or BH having to play in 20-4A.
-
The TJ and Lincoln games vs PNG were always fun to attend. There were a few great rivalries lost when PAISD merged to Memorial.
20-4A would have always been:
TJ
Lincoln
Ozen
Central
PNG
Nederland
LCM
Vidor

Vote games not picked count as miss Yes Or NO
Vote = vote yes to vote that if you do not pick a game or you pick both teams or for any reason your pick is not obvious it counts as a miss.
vote no if you do not want it to count as a miss but just that u have fewer picks listed that week!
-
Got it.
question: how am i doing on the updates? Too many, not enough, just right? i dont want to overload people or run up thier bill
I think you're doing great. I like it when your home and able to get all the other scores out quickly.

Hate it.
2 teams to playoffs should be the max.
