I was at the WCWS and she was close to being thrown out during the LSU game as well. The TV cameras didn't show it, but the 3B umpire put up a heck of a wall to keep her away from the home plate umpire. I think she should have been ejected then.

During the game after she was ejected, the UCLA fans all had tshirts made with her picture on the front and she was in the UCLA fan section during the game. Between innings the fans would parade her down to the front to pose for pictures. 

It was really embarrassing for the NCAA as far as I was concerned.

Forgot to post last week, but we did make the trip back to Beaumont again last Wednesday and beat Kelly 16-0 in 4 innings.

We made the drive over to Beaumont yesterday, but weren't able to get the game started due to lightning. Looks like we'll be making the drive over again on Monday at 5:00. 

I drove the bus through torrential rain from Houston to the Trinity River and back from Beaumont to Anahuac. After that it was clear skies.... lol

I'll actually be in Beaumont this week. We're playing at Kelly at 5:00 on Wednesday, March 29. 

I get lots of scores and good information from this forum. Keep it up WOSgrad!!

By the way... I'm working on 2A-4A standings on our site today (txprepsoftball.net). Feel free to correct what I find as I'm having a hard time getting a lot of the 2A-3A coaches in East Texas involved. Appreciate all of the help I can get and thanks to all of you who post scores here.
