3.
Hardin isn't that young, they only have a couple sophomores on the team. I think it seems like it because some of the young men that graduated last year have played skill positions the last couple years. I was at the Kelly Scrimmage and kelly looked good, we did not. Taylor is a good q/b , we got some talent at the wide out positions and Ogden is a good RB whenever they run it. Haynes Offense is going to score, well see about the defense.   But make no mistake about it if was a H-D vs Kelly Scrimmage the Bobcats wouldn't have faired any better. Hornets get the best of this one.
Being from neither HD, Hardin, or Kelly and having 2 of the 3 schools on our schedule, I saw this scrimmage and I think your giving Kelly too much praise and not taking enough away from Hardin. Kelly did not look all that great, the qb was throwing terrible passes but Hardin's secondary simply couldn't make a play, and Kelly's o-line was fairly small but the backs were able to make the defense miss, If the Bobcats can hit, I say they fair better against Kelly because besides the interior linebacker and running back position Kelly looked weak as well, it was just the fact that Hardin looked weaker, remember Kelly is a team who was winless in district last year.

So why does everyone keep acting like Huffman beats us every year? Out of all these years your best team was last year thats a fact and you all know it, and Libertys best team in those years is this years. Didn't have anything to do with Huffman. And trigger is a coldspring fan (I think)
Oh okay, gotcha.

Could be a long year, but I assure you they'll give it all they got, especially against HD. Always has been a good rivalry.
Players may be small but Hardin has the depth to keep everyone fresh. H-D doesn't have the numbers to back that.
True. Although I feel like H-D's top 5 players are way more dominate than Hardin's. Tyler Drake, Austin Edmondson, Garrett Hickman, Chisholm Marberry and Chris Taylor. H-D has 11 really athletic kids out of their 30 players. H-D wins this scrimmage.  ;)
HD definetely has the better backfield.

(2nd string is what i was told) diboll scored 1 for sure heard it might have been a 2nd in there t. taylor on a 70+ yd run.. heard it was an excellent run and kid is very talented
I believe the first team O and 2nd team O for both teams each had 1 score, Jones for Liberty, Robinson for Liberty, Taylor for Diboll, and someone else for Diboll
Ok what d1 school is that tight end going to? What about Mike Williams I mean 4.4 he has to have some offers to right?  How many offers has Jones or fitz got I know they are only Jrs but since they are all world they should have some offers right? Go look at Jones and fitz stats when the played a winning team. Jones had 59 total yards in three games and neither of them even scored one TD.
hasnt made a decision.. dunno him well enough to say but i can tell you without a doubt that two schools in the big 12 are looking at him.. have been down numerous times.. actually 3 now that i think bout it. only 1 has offered.. dunno the young man that well so ill leave out details until i get the ok.. Jones has no offers neither does Fitz, yet and Williams does not run a 4.4 for whoever said that? He is a physical WR good route runner 3 year varsity WR, dangerous in jump ball situations good vertical and a good set of hands but sometimes drops the easy ones.
Just a question the sites I looked have him listed like 6-6 275 and a OT. So does he play TE or OT for liberty? BTW I didn't really believe the 4.4 comment any way lol.
As a Freshmen and Sophomore he started OT but as a Junior he was the TE, he is 6-6 probably a little closer to 300 now but has a good set of hands on him and enough speed to where he is getting offers from both positions, now for this year we will have to see if he plays OT, or TE maybe I don't know?  ;)
Show me where I said Huffman was gonna go 9-1 and cs was gonna be the only team to beat us? cause I don't remember saying that lol. You have no idea how good or bad Huffman will be, your basing your opinion of us on the fact we lost people that don't meant we don't have talent to replace them. You wanna talk about people keying on gray what about teams keying on Jones cause the best player yall had last year is gone. We already know how he did vs teams that had a clue on D. The BH transfer hasn't won the QB job yet and he was a passing QB in a flex bone offence. Do you even know what the flex bone is? Go read all the comments the BH people posted about him. You can sit here and have all the false confidence you want right now. I just hope you come back to face the music durring the season.
But unlike you we have more than 1 player that put up stats returning? We have Fregia who was an all district selection as well as Fitzwater and Vaught who was on the road to all district before he was injured, also Ryan Melton who has various division 1 offers and got all district, Omar Tebo for the D-Line and a few other defenders.

The bulldogs looked really good on both sides of the football minus the blown coverage at the beginning of the game. I think Kelly will be decent this year. Contests to the new coach he looks like he is doing a heck of a job
No doubt Kelly dominated Hardin, but the 15 minute live quarter was played I sat there and watched it, and as for the person who said Will Darling was 12/12 he wasn't. I dont know his exact numbers but I watched many of those balls hit the ground and some bounce of the WR hands and if it was anybody elses secondary out there he would of thrown numerous interceptions, Hardin was weak it was like watching 1st team Offesne play against JV so don't praise Kelly too much.

There is no such thing, all of this is just speculation lol. No one has concrete proof till the season starts. Now if you want my reasons why idt there will be much change in district go read some of the other threads where I have already posted them. Here is my favorite one tho in three games vs teams with winning records Jones had a total of 59 yards (rushing and receiving) fitz threw for 177 yards and neither of them scored a touchdown. In fact you don't have anyone on your team that's has scored a touchdown vs a team with a winning record. That is pretty sad. BTW no I don't judge someone's talent based off a passing camp that was the only thing I heard about him, But here are some stats. In the only game where Preston Towley was the undoubted starting QB he threw for 199 yards and 1 td. That game was in the playoffs vs a PNG team that went three rounds deep. He has more yards and tds in one game than fits has in 3 vs playoff teams.
that's the his stats for the whole season basically lets not bs.. nice try tho. a wr can put up numbers if the qb doesn't get him the ball... wut part don't you get? last year fitz struggled.. he's improved greatly. as for jones being "average" i didn't know they gave sophomore of the year to average players.. like u said its just speculation and un-educated guesses on your behalf. you went from larsen and gray to hoping a qb that didn't even see playing time will save ya'll. you're making it too easy.
Your right I should've taken you at your word when you said two players that sucked vs winning teams magically got great in 1 year oh yeah I forgot they are 16 instead of 15 now that's a huge difference  ::). They gave it to him because he had 800 yards plus yards that came in 8 of his 11 games vs teams with a combined win total of 19 as a SO. He won't win Jr of they year ;)
Your still dogging our players and not saying any players that are going to step up for your team, ask your secondary if Fitz and Jones suck, every monday night this summer they got to stand and watch these 2 score at will, Huffman is a passing team and Liberty is balanced but we destroyed them in 7 on 7, now I know it's different in pads, but like I said without DeBerry, Whitwher, Julian, the O-Line and key defensive players I don't see much going for you guys. Also we return our leading receiver Jake Vaught who didn't even get to play against Huffman due to surgery.
Everything that can be said about this game has been said already. I have posted who will "step up" and carry the load this in the fifty other threads about this topic. We can argue forever, but the bottom line is, no one is gonna change thier opinion until it is settled on the field.  Good luck to liberty this (exept of course when you play Huffman) I hope both teams stay healthy throughout the season. BTW isnt Jones is your leading  receiver not Vaught? And 7 on 7 carries little to no wait in the out come of the season.
Jones and Vaught had about the same amount of yards when he went out, but finally a post that makes since.

Also we return our leading receiver Jake Vaught who didn't even get to play against Huffman due to surgery.
h-d would finish 53rd..
LOL! Liberty would get crushed by H-D !! LMAO ! Huntington and Tarkington give yall more than yall can handle. lol. Panthers ain't ready for them Bobcats !
No disrespect to HD because you guys play hard and never really have many problems with Liberty but the transition from 1-A to 3 is huge now I can see a very good 1-A competing with an average 3-A but in recent years Daisetta barely gets in the playoffs and goes home soon, HD would come no where close to Liberty, you have 1 player who would even play if they moved to liberty and that chisholm, no one else can even compete
 22.
Do you think they can make the playoffs this season? Do they have any All State Prospects?
I hear they are looking alright, nothing special and it's very hard to make the playoffs in that district with WOS and Silsbee alwasy re loading and then Menard returning for Bridge City
