WHO DO YA'LL HAVE... GRAY AND LARSEN? rushing Klayton Larsen 78 493 6.32 5 receiving Klayton Larsen 5 27 5 0 receiving Darion Gray 29 320 11 4 rushing Darion Gray 35 338 9.66 10 passing Daniel Fitzwater 137 236 58.05 1761 15 16 rushing Jordan Jones 38 280 7.37 4 receiving Jordan Jones 52 829 16 7 where's the comparison??? fitzwater= 1761 15 td's jones= 1109 11 td's huffman duo= 1178 19 td's should i mention the rest of liberty's team.. jones dang near has em beat alone.. and fitzwater does.. get a life
Why don't you compare the stats of the liberty and Huffman players when they played each other. Fitzwater 4pics Jones maybe 50 yards receiving. Score 56 to 7. Nuff said The BH QB from what I heard is pretty good he won the UT passing camp. Now do understand that BH brought in a new coach who ran that old style flex bone offense. Do you know what that is? They don't throw very much in that offense so why would they play a pocket type QB. Learn your facts before you come on here and sound stupid. Liberty gave up 37.5 points a game. It don't matter how many average players that don't do good vs winning teams you return until you fix that D.
Here we go again referring to other teams and what you guys did against other team and how we gave up points to other teams, Larsen was nowhere against Liberty and they let Gray run the ball in the 4th, ok jones and fitz didnt do much against you guys either but quit bringing in other teams and other players when it comes down to it statistically and experience wise liberty is better than huffman set aside last year, you do not have DeBerry or whitwer or martin or any of your o-line quit living in last season and let's talk about this one

The guy Huffman already has seems better then this guy.
Huffman dosent need any transfers to hang 56 on liberty agian. Maybe you should just play our jv team this year. That way you might actually beat a team with a winning record.
I will keep this in mind falconfanatic says liberty might as well play there jv and that huffman will hang 56 on them, writing this down, you go 2 rounds with a super stud offense and secondary that ALL graduated and now your the best team in south east texas lol im giving my team credit for improvement not saying were going to come in and win the district, but apparently thats what you guys in Huffman think, now not taking anything away from you guys being that you did completely dominate Liberty last year, but to say we might as well play your jv is crazy and I won't forget this was said just like when all the WOS fans a few years ago said that West orange was not liberty texas and Chad Allen wouldn't come in a wreck on their Pittsburgh Steeler defense they thought they had, I wont forget this either. LMAO

Colsprings will most likely win  the district, but i expect liberty to be a close second. Huffman will be a great challenge to Liberty but i see Liberty coming on top. Liberty has too much power on the offensive side of the ball and experiance. Liberty also has hired 4 new defensive coaches. that should help not getting 50+ points against the better teams they face. cleveland has the athletes but i just dont think have the right pieces yet. no doubt it will be 1.cs 2. Lib 3. huff
I was wondering when we would get this going again. Tell me this: According to your logic you are returning key positions and many underclassmen that received valuable experience last year which should translate into a second place finish. Huntington dropped 50+ on you and they are returning more key positions and underclassmen that received valuable experience last year than Liberty. Huntington will also have 4 new coaches. Does this mean that Huntington will again whip Liberty, have its first winning record, and will make the playoffs for the first time in school history? How did Liberty's JV do against Huffman? Did Liberty have more talent there?
HaHa that's the dumbest thing I have ever heard, Liberty's star player last season missed 3 quarters of both the Hardin and Huntington game, and being that he was an inside linebacker and all Huntington did was the run the ball I'm sure he would have made a difference and the fact that he rushed for 1500 yards only going 1 round deep and missing 2 games of the season  I don't see anyone on Huntington stopping him. So that's why they hung 50 this year you can drop the 5 from 50 it should be more like 0.
The dumbest thing I have ever heard is someone trying to justify Huntington dropping 50 on them. If you think one player on defense prevents 50 points you are delusional. You guys need to base your points on actions and not "if's" and"should of's".
My bad if it came out that way, the panthers defense that night ( and much of the season ) was terrible. No if's and's or but's about it, Huntington played well not taking anything away from them but IMO this year Liberty is a better team and we were last year to, just did not play like it that night. And I wasn't saying Edwards personally would have stopped the 50 but when your leader on offense and defense is not on the field it effects your team physically and emotionally as well and you can't argue that the game would have had a different outcome.

And we have no returning starters and no experience coming back and no QB and WR who are predicted to lead the district by every magazine/website you can think of, yeah its the EXACT SAME TEAM THAT LOST TO HUNTINGTON GOOD QUESTION HAHAHA
You need to do your research. Huntington is returning 2 more starters and experience than Liberty. Based on YOUR logic you guys will get beat similarly this year. All of those Huntington beasts that ran through you last year are back and more experienced.
If you want to go by how many starters each team is returning then Liberty returns more total than any other team in the district? Ya we don't have our 1500 yard rusher but we don't have an offense built for him either? Last year we did and it's fine having an offense built around one player as long as he is there, and he was the leader on defense, I understand people get hurt in football and you have to adjust, but we didn't, this year we return more players and have a lot more depth.
 6. Yeah the same team, we had no seniors? And we have no returning starters and no experience coming back and no QB and WR who are predicted to lead the district by every magazine/website you can think of, yeah its the EXACT SAME TEAM THAT LOST TO HUNTINGTON GOOD QUESTION HAHAHA

 8. Chron.com has the Panthers as the 5th best 3a team in the Houston area, Coldspring is 1st of course but no other team from 22-3a made the list, the website also has Liberty's Daniel Fitzwater as the best 3a player in the area behind Sherman Gilbert.
 9. Hey MJ22, I apologize for spelling your brothers names wrong LOL, Huffman returns 2 starters on offense and 5 on defense, Liberty returns 8 on offense and 5 on defense, Top 3 leaders of Huffman last year statistically, DeBerry, Julian and Whitwher, (all graduated) and as for Liberty Edwards (graduated) Fitzwater (Junior) and Jones ( Junior) Jones received all south east texas sophomore of the year honors, and also take note that Huffman is a passing team and defensively they rely on speed, Liberty is a running team whos strength on defense is the d line and line backers NOW with that in mind this spring and summer in 7 on 7 huffman and liberty played every monday and met once in qualifying tournament and liberty came out on top EVERY time, so you would think Huffman would win in a game that only features the forward pass 4 DB's and 3 linebackers.
 10. There is NO competition what so ever for the quarterback position at Liberty High School, for whoever said that, and after the graduation of Huffman's quarterback he is the leading passer in the district, and Liberty's WR Jordan Jones is the leading receiver in the district. Liberty played in the 7 on 7 state tournament in college station and Fitzwater ( the quarterback ) played well throwing only 1 interception. They went 2-1 the first day qualifying them for championship bracket where they fell short in the first round. His accuracy is not a problem, it's his decision making and mobility that will be the question, and from what he showed at the tournament rolling out and throwing the ball, his mobility has improved and everyone knows the decision making comes with time so after his sophomore season, and this years 7 on 7 season he should show improvement.

I promise you no one in district 22-3A is scared of this one player.
Really?  You are going to discredit him because he fumbled in the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME???!!???  I was at Liberty's first round embarassment.  You should check yourself.  Gilbert will carry Coldspring, he is the most electrifying player in 22-3A.
He said he was the 2nd best running back on his team, not that he sucked and you can't argue with that, Cummings received honors that Gilbert didn't. Coldspring is a power house, they reload every year, to say that as long as Gilbert is breathing Coldspring will run away with the district, is a little much considering the fact that he is not the type of every down back who can control a game, if Coldspring fills in those spots on the O line and has a good D they should be fine, but Gilbert will not be the deciding factor that one player can be stopped.
