The Huntsville QB, M. Southern. went down late 1st Qtr after 3 straight TD drives. Looked like an ankle roll. There wasn’t much of a Plan B as 2 different receivers subbed in and finished it out. The team was clearly out of sync in the 2nd Qtr, but the defense stepped up and pitched a shutout in the 2nd half. Yes, PNG’s chances go way up for sure if he doesn’t play. Huntsville can practice a new QB this week if Southern is out. However, the Huntsville defense is just as good as last year, even without the big fella Sweat who is off at Texas. PNG won’t put up a lot of points.

Huffman leads 5-1 in Game 3. Top 6th

Huffman leaves the bases loaded in the 7th. Nearly a grand slam, but LF catches it on the track. Robinson wins 2-0. Game 3 next.

Unbelievable. All started with a 2 out walk. Wild pitches, 3 intentional walks, a throwing error, and a game winning wild pitch and Angleton walks off without hitting the ball. These are two great teams, but unfortunately only one can go to State.

I’m also surprised after the Splendora run rule in Game 1. Splendora was certainly a favorite to win State. Impressive and unexpected that Robinson came back to win 2

Wow. We were repeatedly told this game would be 70-0.

Yea, I was at the game and the flag crew must have all been track stars too. They could flat out fly, and they were carrying parachutes.

The weather was wonderful last night in Cy Fair.
