Who is BH targeting?

This is definitely the best match up in the area this Friday night.  There will be great speed on both sides of the ball. This game will hinge on turnovers, third down conversion and special teams. I think WOS probably wins, but i will be rooting hard for Silsbee. Two very talented teams that have a chance to go a long way.

Oh how the might have fallen, Central was riding so high last year. Maybe there was a reason Toby Foreman was entertaining a move to Cleveland. Have all the horses left the Jag stable?

A Head Football Coach has to be a great football mind, but he also has to be a Politician and an Entertainer. He has to be able to galvanize a community behind him and his vision. With the evolution of the BH community, they need a leader with a vibrant, outgoing, progressive personality. And yes, sometimes you have go around a kiss babies and shake a lot of hands and slap a lot of backs. It comes with the job.

With the type of kids BH has they could easily become a a mirror image of PNG. They just need to get the right coach in there. Or, God forbid they run the dang option out of the Pistol and throw it 20 times a game to keep the defense honest and have a two headed offensive monster. They are too predictable for this level of football.

It amazes me that some coaches refuse to evolve. What worked last week, isn't necessarily going to work this week. Let alone 5 or 10 years ago. You have to willing to change with the times as a coach. Especially at the 5A/6A level. And unfortunately, kids have other opportunities to occupy their time. If what you do as a football coach is not enjoyable or exciting, then your numbers will continue to drop.

Regardless of who plays quarterback and what happens with the weather, this should be a action packed, up tempo, high quality game. Both teams are playoff bound, but if they want to win the District Championship, I think they need to win this game. I think Dayton wins.

If you are referring to me, I am far from a hater. I think the kid can play, but IMO, Shaq puts the team in a better position to be successful.

As long as Shaq is playing well, he may be hurt all season. That way coach and son can save face by saying he was injured. If Shaq starts faltering, he will be healed miraculously and come off the bench to save the day. It's win for everybody, especially the Dayton faithful.

Heard they lost the majority of the coaching staff after last season. And the QB moved also, not a good situation from what I hear.

Not sure Shepherd can beat anybody with ease. I think they will continue to improve from the abysmal performance against Cleveland, but they don't throw it as well as San Augustine does. They wont be able to take advantage of the Splendora secondary. It will be relatively close, but Shepard will win.
