Evadale girls and boys are at Hull daisetta tonight beginning at 4:30. Big game for both varsity teams. Girls trying to stay undefeated in District and boys trying to stay in the district championship race.

if you are waiting for the enterprise to turn into a great newspaper, dont hold your breath.....we cant even get statewide basketball scores, girls or boys. its good for wrapping fish.............. now if we can get all the schools in texas to report scores to maxpreps.com we would know more about the rest of teams in texas....... I know coaches have enough to do but they could at least assign a student or assistant to send in info to maxpreps. What would we do without the internet where you can at least look at others newspapers and find out what is happening outside of beaumont. ;D ;D ;D

The rebels have shown tremendous improvement. They have to develope that killer instinct. They had the sharks down and couldnt put them away and alot of that was due to free throws. Is it just me or are free throws becoming a lost art. Some of these real good teams are very poor free throw shooters and it will get you beat every time. Something they have to do on their own time. Shoot thousands until you can do it with your eyes closed. But be aware the rebels will be around for the playoffs. They are going to shake this district up.

E.Chambers beat Evadale early in the year by 2. I dont think you can put Evadale in this list until they would beat one of them.

both great sites. wish we had some to cover the small schools. Hard to find scores in the state of 1A schools.

everyone should be so lucky to have oldref do his or her game. this is a great ref and a great human being. you do a great job joe and i dont know anyone who has overcome more obstacles than you. keep up the good work and we hope you dont ever retire from officiating

ok Koop here is your chance to help us get this started on channel 6 sports. How about a tailgate party for basketball. Every Friday nite to cover the games and scores for Tues. and Fri. Even a weekly scoreboard show would be nice. Girls and boys. Just gather the scores and put em out there. how about hats off to alex cawley at channel 6 sports for his coverage of area highschool basketball. He has included more reporting for basketball on friday nites and video coverage than I have seen in a long time. Last nite he had Ozen,Central,Bridge City,Orangefield,Silsbee,Hardin Jefferson,Evadale(just to nam e a few of the boys games Now they just need to step up and show some of the girls games and scores not just one.Be nice to have a tailgate party for basketball to catch all the area scores just like football.
