the gators were the last success story in Bmt. Bring back minor league baseball and promote it right and it will work. its still good family fun get the kids out in the fresh air and sunshine and get moms and dads to take them to the game. just my opinion.

check out evadale i think they have a new coach who used to be there in 2000. they say she never lost a district game while she was there for 4 years

Mark was a great kid in school and his career from the olympics to the WWE has been very interesting to watch. The one thing I know about Mark is he is a great person. He is really a gentle giant. Very deserving of success.

when a game has started and rain begins and you wait for rain to let up to continue play, the rain doesnt stop and coaches decide to play a different day and place, what determines if you continue game where you left off, or if the game starts over from beginning.

Just a few words about this season and this group of girls. They have always conducted themselves in the best way on and off the court and they will return next year. Congratulations on a great season and another great job by Coach Hollyfield and Coach Bihm. You make everyone in the community proud

you can rest assured the program will be back. they have a fine young coach who is a winner and they have improved. With some good young players and going thru the growing pains they have gone thru this year, my hat is off to the players,coaches and fans who have hung in their with them all year. They are building for the future and those of us who have seen them from the beginning have seen progress. A team usually takes on the attitude of its coach and believe me their coach is a winner and knows what it takes. Keep your heads up Boys and follow your Coach you wont go wrong.......

just a word about the girls Big Sandy/Evadale game played 2/1/08 in Evadale. My compliments to the three officials who kept control of the game and called 95% of all the fouls. I say 95% because there are going to be some missed,its just being human. Even though there were 77 free throws shot, most of them were two shot fouls. Even though the game was an hour and twenty minutes long no one seemed to mind. This was as intense a game as you will find. Big Sandy undefeated in district 24A and Evadale in third place in the district. There were 5 lead changes and 6 ties. It was a one point game with 2:30 to go, it just didnt get any better if you like basketball. The most important thing is the officials didnt determine the outcome, the players did and thats the way it should be. These two teams really get after each other and both coaches are very intense coaches and great rivals, but good friends. The fans were loud on both sides but never interfered with the game. Again a salute to both schools,coaches, fans,and yes the officials, it was a great game to watch

you might want to save your breath on this one. This has been tried before. Consider how much coverage the Lamar Cardinal basketball program gets and it is D1. Now watch out if they vote football back in at Lamar. There wont be any problem getting coverage. Are you getting my drift. BB is just the ugly stepchild here in texas, FOOTBALL FOOTBALL FOOTBALL You have to understand the football mentality. Even a great basketball program will be overshadowed by football. Its just the way it is. :
