  1. "No one said anything about comparing quality wins between PNG and Nederland. I simply listed the opponents PNG has played. In the past 5+ years this is probably the lowest SETX football has been a while, but if you can't see that then you haven't been attention the past couple of years. So what Im trying to say is that PNG is winning in a down year against sub par teams at best. Im glad PNG is winning finely but don't act like yall are the champs now and are gonna pound Nederland in 2 weeks."

"We will see how good SETX football is when playoffs start. 22-5A is not as good as y'all think. 21-5A has better teams from top to bottom. If PNG and Central are loaded with talent. Bet me right now that neither one of those team go to the second round!"

For all the people that made comments about me being wrong this year and for all the fans who don't see the reality or bigger picture(the rest of Texas outside one small area) and called teams "Loaded" referring to PA Titans fans at the start of the year. 21-6A maybe wasn't as good as advertised. If it wasn't for North Shore that district would be sitting at home too. You can't win if you don't play Defense!

    Points allowed(Yds allowed)  Ozen: 41(421) Central: 55(699)  PNG: 56(439)  Westbrook: 45(426)

Deer Park: 41(473) LaPorte: 35(523)   Nederland: 31(278)-Can't say anything here, Nederland played pretty well on D,too many turnovers.

  7. My point is this thread is about MCM--something you probably can't understand! So go pound your 21-5a chest on some other thread...

For your information Im a Nederland graduate I go with my heart and think with my brain when it comes to sports. Do I want Nederland to win every game? Hell Yeah! I pick them every week in my pick'em. So your assumption of me being from 21-5A are wrong. I just get out of the area more and see that SETX isn't that great this year compared to the other districts around us.

  9. And likewise please use the fact that PNG has not beaten anyone yet (and Nederland has ) as a measuring stick.

No one said anything about comparing quality wins between PNG and Nederland. I simply listed the opponents PNG has played. Im glad PNG is winning finely but don't act like yall are the champs now and are gonna pound Nederland in 2 weeks.

  10. PNG wins are against teams that are a combined 5-15.  Beat your chests all you want, but you don't exactly have any "quality" wins either.

Pretty Good point, but its 9-17 for all the PNG fans that were wondering. Clear Lake(2-3) WOS(4-2) Chapel Hill(2-3) Lee(0-5) GCM(1-4) PNG has only played one quality team in WOS and they had a 3rd string QB.  Plus PNGs next opponent is Lumberton (1-4). So please get hyped like PNG has accomplished something and there are now world beaters and are gonna thrash Nederland because they are putting up points on the schools who give up 35+ every game.

  15. Nederland needs to go back to the old offense. Put Smith or the transfer @ QB and put Seay at WR & Secondary.  Seay is their best athlete he needs to be used both ways. No point of having all these QBs on the team that can't play D and just sit on the sideline and watch. By going back to the old offense we can work the ball on the ground to keep the clock moving and mix in some passing at the same time. Straight execution offense just positive yards every play.  Too many times against Dayton, Nederland got no yards or lost yards on 1st time.

Does anybody remember the last time Nederland changed to the spread?  I do and the first year was a long and disappointing year and after that it didn't get much better.  Nederland has won the past 3 district championships since getting out of the spread and going under center. I don't want to hear the personnel excuse, because look at Vidor they got small, nonathletic kids playing line every year and still run the same offense.

  17. first off, seems like nederland wants to be associated with PAM...maybe baseball not getting enough of them in...trust me, i bleed purple and gold, but i don't care what 3 high schools yoou came from, NOBODY LIKES MC!! so therefore, please do not besmirch PAM's good name with a word so vile and filthy as "nederland".

proud dawg, nederland hasn't done ANYTHING great to be considered doing something great. like i said, neaumann is a good coach...not a GREAT coach...if he was, nederland would have "the hardware". before ANY of you spit out the garbage you want to say in response to that, harrison isn't a great coach, but he's better than good. not because of wins and losses, but because he CARES about his students when highschool is over. helping them get scholarships into schools. i may not agree with alot of his play calling and who he puts in, but those kids BELIEVE and worship the ground that man walks on and will fight for him and that what matters.

This says alot about you as a human being. How old are you?  You gotta go and just disrespect an entire town, just to prove a point.....  Has a Nederland or PNG fan gotten on here and just bad mouthed Port Arthur?   No, so please enlighten us why you are so angry toward Nederland and PNG.......   I think I already know why but I want you to explain it.

  19.  i will be watching png-lcm-hamshire fannett, curious to hear the outcome of that scrimmage for sure. The way Nederland is sucking up that helium to make their heads swell and beating their chest, will be interesting to see how far along that ned offense and defense is. The young qb from wos is pretty damn good. he came in late last year against us made a few bad throws but turned it up a notch. should get some idea what Sage looks like at QB. Im just glad its time to get the show on the road. Come on Friday lol.

Im glad that kid your talking about for WOS transferred then.   Plus I forgot that PNG fans are SO Humble and never talk like they got something , are better than last year, or how they out work everyone.......
