I was referring to wins. How many games did they win?
Refering to wins and stating they got smoked are two entirly different things! You would also have to take things like injuries into account, which they had several, including one to the starting QB in which he was only about 70% for the first game and a half or so and then had to sit out the remainder of the tournament. The point is, do you know all the circumstances? One more thing, a whole bunch of other teams did not even make it that far!

Seems to me that PNG has been all about QB #s and has achieved those records.
However, they don't win the ones that count nor make the plays when it counts.
what is Fairclothes record over there?
IMO the reason they got smoked at the state level in 7/7 is they can't man up to the skills set other teams throw at them. WOS Central, etc...Were you there watching them at the state 7/7 tournament? I was, and I watched every game, and I surely don't remember them getting smoked.

When Lafleur was a freshman and Straface was a senior, Lafleur had to bring the ball down the court against Lincoln’s full court press because Straface could not handle the ball as well. Straface was a very good shooter but not the all around player Lafleur was. -

I was just referring to all the talent that will be playing college ball from Memorial and that apparently Lamar could not find the time to make a 20 minute trip down the road to check it out. Just kind of makes me wonder. I’m sure I’m not the only one.

You are right, that has been a long time, no doubt, but all that talent was there previous to Thanksgiving and lots of other schools were coming around, just not the one right down the road. -
I spoke with a Memorial coach just after Thanksgiving and he informed me at that time that to his knowledge no Lamar coach had been on there campus. I just find it hard to believe with all that talent that signed college scholarships yesterday from Memorial no one from Lamar would even come around.

AggiesAreWe may not be wrong, all he said was that no Lamar coach has been on Memorials campus and no one was offered. He did not say there may not have been some phone calls that may have been used to say they are recruiting there. If a call is made than that is recruiting. But if not a single Lamar coach visited Memorials campus, that is a completly different matter alltogether.

I wondered the same thing, it seems like there are a lot of players at or going to Lamar that are not sticking with their original commitments. I’m glad we are getting some local players but it seems there is no since of real loyalty to choices. -
Lamar is not smart enough to look at these kids apparently. Maybe it’s too far away !!!
