I wish they would attack the rim
Why change their philosophy? They are determined to win or lose by the 3!! Sad to say, this is the only kind of offense these guys seem to know.

end of 3rd USA      83 Spain    82 Spain simply out playing US!

WHAT!!!!! NBC goes to a commercial while game still being played!!
This is hard to watch.
Yes it is. BTW, '92 teams inside game would destroy both this Spain team and this '12 USA team!

Halftime USA        59 Spain      58 Spain's zone defense doing a good job. USA defense not so good. They are counting on Spain to turn it over and Spain is doing a great job of limiting the turnovers. Spain's inside offensive game is giving USA fits. USA has to attack the rim and not count on the 3 ball so much.

4 minutes left in 2nd USA        52 Spain      49

Spain's Marc Gasol has just picked up his 4th foul!! You only get 5 in the Olympics. He will have to sit a very long time. That hurts Spain significantly.

Spain completely out playing the US right now both in execution and hustle. USA      46 Spain    44 6 minutes left in 2nd

USA is determined to live and die by the three.

Spain starts the 2nd Q on a 7-0 run, cuts USA lead to 1, 35-34.

Just on the head to head match up, Vijay is kicking Tiger's tail!!! Vijay is 5 shots better than Tiger through 7 holes. Both started at -4, now VJ at -6, Tiger at -1.

I just saw where Carl Padilla of the Padilla Poll tweeted that he is lining up some games for next season and one of those games has PNG playing Stephenville. If that's the case, who would Silsbee play? I thought these games were 2 year home and home contracts. Would PNG be willing to give up a home game next season and in the process leave Silsbee out to dry looking for an opponent for week 0?
Like the old saying goes for every sophomore you start pencils in a lost. We had 7 sophomores start and one freshman. All I can say he's some people is gonna be surprised at how big we gonna be on the line. Average on both lines is 260 GO DOGS
Silsbee started 6 soph. last year, went 8-3 in a much tougher district. ;) Not sure I put much credit in that "old saying". ::)
