The Dayton Broncos (9-3, 5-2) face the Manvel Mavericks (12-0, 6-0) tonight at 7pm in a Class 4A Division II regional semifinal at Clyde Abshire Stadium in Deer Park. The winner will take on the winner of Beaumont Ozen/LaMarque in the Region III finals next week. Post updates and scores of this game here on this thread.

The Lovelady Lions (10-1, 4-0) will take on the Price Carlisle Indians (11-0, 5-0) in a Class 1A Division I Regional semifinal tonight at 7:30pm in Athens. Winner will take on the winner of Garrison/Big Sandy in the Region III final next week. Post updates and scores of this game here on this thread.

The Fred Williams Classic starts today at 4pm with Hardin-Jefferson taking on Beaumont Central. This will be followed by St. Pius vs. Beaumont West Brook at 5:30pm, Silsbee vs. Kountze at 7pm, then the last game pitting Port Arthur Memorial against Beaumont Ozen at 8:30pm. I've seen enough HJ teams over the last several years and I think this one is as good as any of the HJ teams the past 10 years. They may not make it out of the region, but they will be in Huntsville doing their best to do so.

Like I said, he is no JV player, will play and probably start on varsity as soon as he is ruled eligible.
